This feeling...
Heavy...
Like a wreath bearing down my neck.
Every fibre in me seem to be at loggerheads.

My heart...
Pounding.
Each beat is a hammer
sledging away at my saneness.

My breaths...
Premature and short.
Inconsistent.
I respire full but with punctured lungs.
what is it you like in a girl?
her hair
face
*****
***
dimples?

what do i have she doesn't?
curly hair
pretty face
big *****
fat ***
dimples?

well honey if you payed attention
and looked at me you'd see
i have straight not curly hair
i wear makeup to cover my
imperfections
i have *****
and an ***
and to your surprise
dimples!

we are just the same person in
different bodies!
I will never wish to be dead
because , for the record ,
none of my previous wishes
ever came true
Well, the years went by like a car goes by
or a train in a melancholy song
And our love ran dry like a well runs dry
or a flame that's been burning too long

Oh, I can't believe that you would leave
I thought you were my friend
And Papa, when are you coming home again?

Now my days roll by like the sun rolls by
or a night when you stay up all night long
And my heart is dry like my eyes are dry
it's you I blame for all the heartache I've known

Oh, I can't believe that you would leave
I thought you were my friend
And Papa, when are you coming home again?
Song poem.

Study while others are playing
Plan while others sleeping

Start while others are procrastinating
Decide while others are delaying

Listen while others are talking
Talk while others are babbling

Smile while others are frowning
Appreciate while others are complaining

Act while others are daydreaming
Believe while others are doubting

Rest while others are stopping
Persist while others are quitting
Rest, but don't stop.. The thing is, never ever quit. But make sure to know your limitations, when you choose to stop or quit, it doesn't necessarily means you lose.
One day you'll wake up and whatever is hurting you now won't phase you any longer. Look forward to that coming day.
I read a lot of poems on here about heart break and I just wanted to say that it will be hard but you'll feel better when it hurts less.
