Three days ago you told me you'd never leave,
Three days later you're not talking to me.
Three days ago you said we were cute,
Now Three days later I'm hating you.
What happened to us between then?
Was this last week just pretend?
Was Winter break the last parade?
Before you decided to end my days.
Now I board down a ***** of heart break.
You got me pondering life while standing on an iced lake,
Not caring if I fall through,
Because I'm already drowning in the coldness of not being with you.

My heart is not broken
It is only in pieces that have learned to live apart

It was a choice of survival
Evolving
Floating
Connected by the same body of water

Though unsacred, shared experience records the nobility of freeing oneself to become every moment of your life

North is happy
South is sad
East is angry
West is glad

A mission trip to the four corners of future dreams

Armed with diverse darkened hopes sailing beyond each horizon but touched by the same sea

My heart is not broken
But it will converge one day

Washed ashore upon understanding lands made whole by the hopes of others who decided their journeys no longer could hide them from dreams that are ready to awaken

I was quite,
but I was not blind.

I was calm,
but I was not collected.

I was smiling,
but I was not happy.

I was smart,
but I was not appreciated.

I was sad,
but I was not showing it.

I was free,
but I was not brave.

I was curious,
but I was not questioning.

I was articulate,
but I was not speaking.

I was nice,
but I was not vain.

I was me,
but I was not enough.

I was found,
but I was lost.
