There was a time
When the evil in me
Simply took over
I tried my best
To never be sober
I had no need for morals
Not a thought of tomorrow
I lived out my deepest
Emotional scars
Needles, crack pipes
Kicked out of every local bars
Truly
I never anticipated
Getting this far
But here we are
I've no need to be a liar
My soul has been chard by fire
My poetry reflects
A man with nothing left
Nothing left to lose
Accept for you

I'm fighting against my heart
In secret
I know it to be true
That I could just show up
At your door
And kiss
But no
That wouldn't be fair to either of us
Especially you

Yes life moves on
To different things
Positivity sparkles
In butterfly wings

Butterfly wings
With colors galore
Inside of breath
Eyes crave some more

More so heartbeats
dance and align
everything’s sacred
You are divine

Your glory is brighter than the sun
in its brightest intensity
Your Spirit in man is divinity at work
in humanity
Your mercies is like series of heavy rainfalls after years of drought
Your love is superabundant, inexhaustible,
too much to run out on
Your loveliness has no likeness
You alone truly art God and Lord of all.
