Bright blue skies
A few white clouds scattered
Golden rays of sun
Multi colored flowers everywhere
Green trees swaying
Fragrant scents adorn the air
Like perfume

Light calming breezes
Blow across the face
Teasing it ever so slightly
Like gentle butterfly kisses

Ocean waves pounding the shore
Turquoise water
Endless sandy beaches
Smooth as silk
Umbrellas everywhere

Music in the air
Children playing
Hints of summer
Fill my mind
500 poems,
I'm proud of myself,
I'm proud of this community,
I'm proud so many people are willing to show support.
I'm happy I found my way here,
But I might take a break,
Don't want to ruin a good thing.
It still feels like I joined yesterday.
Love and passion compel me through the nights that last to long..
No invisible entity can touch me, my muses are far too strong!
I don’t need to strain my eyes to see what can’t be see from afar
We know that evils out there,
cause love is who we are!

Beneath the gulmohar tree
In flamboyant love
A tale of our desires
Coloring each other
A bright vermillion
Under his crimson spread
Shaded in blissful haven.

Reaching for his branches
Clasping, holding
Climbing, swinging
Chasing, laughing
Under a bright shower of scarlet petals
Of hearts and heat, of love and life
Blooms of a scorching Indian summer.

In flames, his vibrant burning crown
His canopy, flaunting festive tangerine blossoms
Crinkled teasing petals
One upright
Of quaint innocence in white
Splashed with  feisty passion's red
Celebrating and anticipating
In celebration of us, our love
Anticipating rain..
As his branches reach high for promising dark clouds.

Serenading with the music of the monsoons
Moist leaves of the gulmohar glisten
With wind and water, in gentle rhythm
Raindrops nestle for a moment
Before sliding, slipping
On damp, satiated earth
Strewn bright with scattered orange petals
Of the gulmohar
Drenched and soaked like us.
Repost. I can feel summer just around the corner
to express my pain
I must abstain
it’s a toxic masculinity thing!

to express an ounce of doubt
I can surely do without
The universe feeds
our hope and dreams

to clarify this read
I will express my only needs
food, water, and shelter
from the storm..

But for now I must contain
‘cause I’m sounding pretty lame
It’s time to share a beer
and leave you here
expressing all the secrets
of your heart.
What were you expecting from a poem called unexpressed?
