Sitting by the window
at the coffee shop
Counting the birds flying by
as the Ray of light
Glanced into my eyes
awaiting the visit
Of
The Little Red Bird

Pleasing and Delightful
Poetic Justice
Swirled on the tip of your tongue
Unravelled by the glaze
A intellectual treat
The taste of your thoughts
Keeps me wanting more.

Absorbing radiation
Growing steady
From her roots
She craved thirst
beneath the ground.
MarKat Jan 2019
Sunken in my most possessive fear
Fighting the hands of pressure
Stuck in time.
Please come again save me. Im drained and weak crying tears in the shadow of control.

There is art
In your heart
Painting pictures
When I lay
My head down on your chest

There are songs in your eyes
Singing lullabies
When you hover
Pin me down
With your stare

There is a poem
On the tip
Of your tongue
I taste it
When I kiss you

You are tortured
Stereotyped
My jaded lover
I hear it
When you won't talk

In the time of dawn
Across town lyes debris of the elite soilders
Engaging the surface of the concrete for the dusty White sands
Desperate to overcome the precautions of the battle
Imagining sounds of the water pouring from its River falls
Helpless and hopeless to escape the battle
With no weapons or shield
Trembling in circles enduring to be free
Imagining in due time the rise of the ground
Will soon to come.

Sea
I am the deep, the sky in reverse
I have what you seek, for better or worse

I am the blue of infinite depth
I've swallowed the crews and cleared the decks

You are afraid or maybe intrigued
Of the place where you played and also was freed

Kiss me now like you did before
Give me your vow and the ocean is yours.
