Fall is like a rainbow of colors
It holds moments of the months together
flower arrangement, for fall weather
Fall is like a rain bow of colors
Summer flowers die and others uncover
even tho we have the change of hours
We  have fall flowers none like others
Fall is more beautiful then just turning leafs,
As they fall their barring the trees
need to finish

If you looked inside her heart
You’d find a deep cavern
A lonely spirit trembling in the corner
If someone strums her heartstrings
A spirit quakes in fear
of loving, of falling, of being broken

She has made many mistakes
Doesn’t want to repeat
She has been dropped once
Shattered to pieces
Lie scattered on the floor
Like the pieces of a puzzle unsolved

She is terrified of love
Afraid she would not be able to solve the puzzle
Eventhough she has all the pieces
She needs to take a chance
and find a spark of courage

If you looked inside her heart
You’d find a not-so-empty cave
A hopeful spirit curled in the corner
Looking up to find a light
In that light she sees the picture
And is finally able
to solve the puzzle

He doesn't know
that he is my harbour after a stormy day
A haven
where I let my thoughts drift and dreams rest
That he is my rain, sunshine
and rainbow at different times
And the muse behind my songs and rhymes
He doesn't know
that he is the reason behind the smile in my eyes
And why I sing and curl my toes
He doesn't know
that he sets my pulse racing
And I suppose he will never know.

He was constant.
She was unpredictable.
He was rational.
She was emotional.

He was a dreamer.
She was a believer.
He was a talker.
She was a listener.

He was a critical thinker.
She was an avid reader.
He spoke in a bottomline manner.
She wrote in a metaphorical way.

He was a mechanic.
She was an artist.
He assembled guns.
She crafted poems.

He was a bike rider.
She was a composer.
He was skillful with his engines.
She was passionate with her songs.

He was an entertainer.
She was a public speaker.
He had tenacity.
She had authority.

He was firm.
She was flexible.
He was honest.
She was open.

He was a risk-taker.
She was adventurous.
He was a planner.
She was a goer.

He was happy-go-lucky.
She was often uneasy.
He was drink-and-be-merry.
She was live-life-and-be-happy.

Both responsible in their chosen field.
Both loud, but would sometimes prefer the solitary.
Both travellers, jokers, and crowd-pleasers.

Parallel, but not entirely the same.
Opposites, but not completely contradicting.
Complementary, but not dependent to each other.
Most importantly, loving, but not demanding.

He and She.
You and Me.

Even in my darkest days
you are the light
that enriches my soul.

The Sun spreads her words across a symphony
of color at the days end
Hoping her loving expression reaches the moon
and that it transcends

The moon slowly rises from the sea
Looking everywhere for his love is he
Calling across all time and space
Searching for his light and her beautiful face

The Sun lights up the big beautiful sky
He has witnessed this with his very own eyes
Her beautiful words are etched deep inside of me
Penetrating my core to the very existence she sees

Excited today is the day we will get our chance
We do not have to chase each other for that dance
We will dance all the way from the top of Mt Hood
To the bottom and beyond the Alabama Hardwood

We take each other to the depths of the unknown
Embracing what was meant to be together not alone
One brief moment he will trace my outline with his lips
Shadowing my body to make our very own Solar Eclipse
I wrote part of this poem back in 2012 then retouched a bit to mark the Eclipse happening today!!
I know in different languages the moon is female and the sun is male but this is my poem and I am doing it this way!! Thanks for reading :)
