I better stop these feelings,
Before I stay up all night thinking about you.

I better stop these feelings,
Before my eyes become fixed on you.

I better stop these feelings,
Before I start dreaming about you and I.

I better stop these feelings,
Before our small talks keep on repeating inside my head.

I better stop these feelings,
Before your small gestures  jumble my emotions.

I better stop these feelings,
Before your presence becomes my only happy pill.

I better stop these feelings,
Before you completely occupy both my mind and my heart.

I better stop these feelings,
Before I fall, without you to catch me.

Lost love
Rykha Oct 2018
He wanted to search for himself,
that's why I let him go.

He found himself...
and it was with her.

“A bit too much”
Rykha Feb 2018
I loved you...

A bit too much,
That I chose to stay by your side while you were crying over her

A bit too much,
That I tried to bring back your happiness by helping you win her over again

A bit too much,
That I decided to heal your heart while I broke mine into a thousand pieces

A bit too much,
That I cherished you at your worst while you loved her at your best

"His"
Rykha Jan 2018
His silly talk,
And his awkward walk;
His crooked smile,
And his old-school style;
His fears, his scars and other little foibles,
They make him perfect, his flaws and all;
I love them; no doubts, no blurs—
In the same way he loves hers.

Love, Happiness, Pain
Rykha Jan 2018
Love, happiness, pain;
Three things I felt after meeting you again.

Love—
My heart fluttered like the butterflies in my belly,
Just like in the past when I bumped into you accidentally.

Happiness—
I was filled with bliss as I looked at your face;
Your smile that was taken has now been regained

Pain—
I regret my actions that throbbed you like swords,
because now she's your reason for the two preceding words.
Inspired by my friend's break-up story. I hope she can move on soon

"Girl on a Bench chair"
Rykha Jan 2018
I sat on a park bench,
Five meters away from you;
I stared at you
Several times but you never knew;
You looked my way,
And my heart almost went astray;
Then you stood up, gaped, speechless,
My eyes wandered around
as my emotions became a mess;
As the girl next to me
walked down the park alley,
I realized your gaze
was fixed on her earnestly;
My mind went blank,
heart clenched with despair,
I was no more
than a girl sitting on a bench chair.
Hi guys! :D I'm really glad I became part of this poetry community. This is not the first poem I wrote in my 19 years of existence, but I only got interested in composing poems just recently (yesterday to be exact xD) after reading my friend's work of art. I will be really glad to hear your comments, opinions, and suggestions regarding this poem of mine, especially since I'm new to this field of art. Thank you everyone!! :D

A heart to save
Rykha Sep 2018
I heard your painful cries,
When she left you with nothing but boundless lies.
I felt the need to save you
From the dark abyss you were about to fall into.
Picked up your broken fragments
And built you up with my heart pieces
Then she came back with a promise of change,
With no hesitation, you returned to her arms again.
Now that my heart left me for you,
I wonder, will someone save me too?

I hope...
Rykha Mar 2018
I hope you find someone who will love you the way I did
And will show it to you the way I never did
