No need for us to be
let go the tourniquet
let us bleed
a dark prayer
no candles flickering
deeper now
slow your dripping
coagulate your heart
release your bowls
and let us part

Now that wasn't so bad...
Your still breathing?!
are you mad!

Did you escape the pain?
defeat the sorrow?
We can always try again tomorrow.

HURTING?

You're not alone
In your pain
All your understanding
Has been ordained

Open your eyes
Beyond what you see
Forget what you think you know
And just try to breathe

Woven into the fabric of consciousness
Are the assumptions of reality
And the deception of imagination
But mostly a need to survive
Put down the knives
And walk outside

I feel for you...

Are we visitors or invaders?
I can see the sadness in the leafless trees and grey sky.
Did we come in peace or did we come in rage?
She shakes in pain,
She drowns cities with her tears.
All she wanted was to be a home,
But we became it’s pollution.
Her forests burn like a burning heart,
Is it her pain that I am seeing or is it mine?

Like myriad others
I was born crazy
A blessing bestowed
By Moon's grace
And a curse slotted
By Sun's paradise
I was born crazy
To take on two things
Shift for myself
Amid worldly plagues
And exhibit my perceptions
With opalescence of my dance
I was born crazy
In light of squares
There are not enough stars
That Darkness can't sway.

This rain has met its match in me
Such short ends becoming nothing

Bursting I am lonely at all
Not a heartthrob

But tall as Pine and less of Willow

It’s just a breeze

I ache when you’re not here
“Honestly, the only thing that gives me comfort you guys. Is while I’m sitting at home, staring at the ceiling just wishing that I had someone to talk to. Is knowing that none of you idiots realize how lucky you are.”

Not really a personal verse. I just really like the tune and wanted to embody it in verse.

We are poets. We are emotional to extremes.
We love more and hate more and suffer most
of all.  We feel everyone's pain and write it
in our blood for you. You're welcome.
