You lay there missing her,
I lay here missing you.
My mind gets flushed
by all the boggling
memories.
They linger in my
caliginous mind .
I miss being in the
ecstatic state and
also the butterflies
you gave me.
My cheeks which
used to turn crimson
red now look pale
with no blood rushing
through them.
Your atramentous
enticing eyes hold
all my dreams and wishes.
They make me believe
that magic exists and
so does delectation.
You have cast an
irreversible and
unbreakable spell
on me which makes
me wanna hold
on to you.
You are as addictive
as lithium and
as gorgeous as
a free enlightened
soul.
You are my only
antidote that can
bring me back
to life.
Your atoms have
collided with mine
and are creating a
new galaxy.
No matter what
but you are that one
star in my sky that is
impossible to forget
because the merriness
I get when I look at your
empyrean face cannot be
compared to any other
happiness in the entire
galaxy.
You will always shine
the brightest in my
obsidian sky.
This is a personal poem I wrote a long time back. This is pretty self explanatory and I never thought of posting this as it was something I didn't want to share. I didn't want people to know what weakness WAS.
Things have changed and poetry is all about penning your thoughts down. I don't want anything to hold me back.

There was one last lipstick stained cigarette
In the ashtray
Laced with memories I could forget
The cold wind greeted
the hoarfrost that
evening as white
butterflies started to
fall from the dark sky.
Soon the pearly blanket
was spread across
the whole land.
It sparkled on the milky
moonlight, giving the old
willow tree a wooly gown.
Covering all the roofs,
the fields of corn and wheat,
the tall grass on the meadow.
But then she appeared,
sending fairies to dance on the
frozen lake thus melting the ice.
And with every step that she took,
snowdrops began to bloom.

I have noticed a handful of things about Hello Poetry, however similar or dissimilar. I'd like to share my observations in poetic form.

I once was in love, but I didn't work out .
Please understand that my love
was unique and you wouldn't understand, but please understand
what you wouldn't understand.

My love is like (insert ridiculous description, regarding a storm, blood, or an event)
and my heart beats like a caged
monkey, pounding with **** covered knuckles.

Did I mention how intelligent I believe I am?
I shall now act confident so I can
compensate for this crippling insecurity. (Insert Will Hunting rant).

Metaphor. Metaphor.
******* metaphor.
Bloated poem
trying too hard.

Men are ****! I will now rant
about how sexist they are
while being sexist and narrowminded.

Liberals! Conservative!
Hilary! Trump!
Liar! **** hair!

***. ***. ***. ***.
***. ***. ***.

Something, something divisive.
Something, something,
******* philosophy.

Hey! Over here!
Look at this haiku about nature!

Hey! Over here!
Read my 67th love poem!

Ugh. You lot are dreadful.
