Sin Nov 2015
Shadows dance around the walls
Down the corridor through the halls
Looking for a sleepless soul
To prey upon their helpless call

Covers pulled up nice and tight
Won't help the dammed through the night
With wide eyes darting all around
Ears pricked to the sounds

Lights flicker as they pass by
Shadows zoom right up high
Cackle laugher and bumps on the door
Hide under the bed cry no more

The night will pass and of they go
Just hope your here come tomorrow
For they will come back again
Riding high on hells fast train

With a Jewish religion and a German Queen,
Who has a clue where the Brits have been?
Mum’s clan were Huguenots,
Dad’s maybe Welsh.
Lots of Africans in our football teams.

Keep out those immigrants many do say,
Even those whose parents came from Bombay.
We’ve lots of patriots from Pakistan:
The younger generation, Brits to a man.

But some are Radicals I hear you say,
We should be sending them on their way,
Back to Asia where they belong,
To the tunes of a UKIP song.

So what is “British” we must ask,
For this is not an easy task.
Justice and Democracy I hear you shout,
Tiny islands with some clout.

Shakespeare, Beatles, Rugby Lions,
Churchill clapping foes in irons.
Let’s be glad that we are free
And settle down to a cuppa tea.

Rule Britannia! PS there must be a character limit here as I did Not give Bombay a separate line myself.

I promised myself,
I will not burn my flesh,
and feel as if the hell i'm in is like the hell below,
as the lighter makes my skin itch,
as if i'm hotter than the sun's kisses.
and maybe your jealous I kept this promise to myself,

I kept my promise,
while you told me lies,
as your bent the truth like the metal in your skin,
but I had to hold all my urges in,

I kept my promise,
while the world crumbled around me,
while my mother wanted to shout at me,
everyday,
for the pain I caused her,
as I only let tears come out,

I kept my promise,
while a boy told me he loved me,
as he got his and my heart wrap up like in a to-go bag,
he shortly stopped holding my hand and started raising them to me,
and I only said stop,

They broke their promise,
why am I not allowed to,
as them before me,
let them watch me bleed out the broken truth,
as they may see for the first time,
how they have hurt me,
Broken Truth, is about being told, not to do things, by people who keep lying to you

Summer days bright and hot
Come let's go to our favourite spot
Grab your bucket and your *****
Icecream to eat with lemonade

Mum brings the sun cream
Dad brings the car
Everything in the boot
Soon we will be on or way
Hope its not far

Watching all the fields go flying by
Cows and sheep we spy
We're on our way to the seaside
Singing all the way

Mum puts the towels out
Dad all red and hot
We just play in the sand
What a jolly lot

Seabirds cry above our heads
As fish and chips are eaten
Greedy birds swoop on down
Pinching anything that's left

Tired eyes sleepy yawns
The day had come to rest
Going home we sleep so sound
Dreams that are the best

A hundred strong they gathered now
Nordic warriors waiting for the order
As snow fell deep they cowered
From its chilling icy fingers

The order came and brave men stood
Raised their swords to the god
Of prosperous luck and bravery
As the snow danced upon their souls

They prayed in nordic tongues this night
Then strode into the storm of hell
Each man a single entity
Ready to **** for pride and creed

Frosty breath eyes that narrow
Onwards they march each with hope
That by the dawn the land will be
Home to the brave
And a new beginning

Clap clap what's that noise
Am I under your bed
Or behind your toys
Watching you now
In the dark
Tasting your fear
From your heart

So close your eyes and make a wish
That should I go or play within
Your freaky nightmare
That makes you sweat
Your mind goes mad
Your clammy skin

So turn around and try to sleep
Don't look now or even peek
I'll soon be gone at first light
But back again tomorrow night
