You're just a beautiful dream
to me
Purple butterflies
were dancing in the sky
Through the sun set
and the moon rise
We looked into each other's eyes
And kissed
"Finally" my mind voiced
In a state of overwhelming bliss
Finally, finally
Finally
I thought I have to tell my sister
Then my phone started to ring
I woke up
Dreams like that
make reality sting.

I'm the orange and blue.
The green leaves and
the chlorophyl too.

I'm the prettiest shade
of green found in the
garden of Eve.

My petals breathe with
lust and desire. Waiting
silently for your hands
to touch and caress.

My petals blush when
you gaze at them from
a distance.

You're beauty leaves
them amazed. Making
them twist and twirl like
a ballerina on an opera's
stage.

Trying to catch your
attention trying to make
you fall in love. Trying to
make you come closer
and pick me up from
the dirt and rocks.

Desperately wanting
you to take me home
and place me in a
vase.

So that i'll be the only
thing you'll get to see
when you wipe the
sleepy off your
beautiful eyes* ~

Everyone's love has
faded from my heart
starting with family
and ending with
friends.

Your arms are the
ones that i'll chose
to run in when drunk.
Your chest is the one
that i'll hide in. Your
collar bones is where
i'll bury my face in.

For it's you that will
wash me clean
from sin.

And wash my body
from the alcohol
drenching it from
within in order to
make me sober
once again.

It's you darling.

My mind and heart
will always chose
you even if in a
room with a
hundred or
a billion
standing* ~
I always seem to have needed lots of time
To stare......at nothing
I went through my entire education
Staring through windows
At nothing much
Indeed, the essence of a good stare,
Is not to focus on anything
But to find that comfortable place
Where thoughts can wander
To find nourishing places to dwell
Where poetry is born

I
am
Emerging

departing
from
the desert
of this
scattered
life of living
just
existing in
this world

I
am
Emerging

from the
shrouding of
want and
longing
that's lived
like a canker on
the landscape
of my mind

**I
am
Emerging

from the downpour
of emotion
from all the things
that I have
missed
through a
lifetime
full of pain

I
am
Emerging

into my new beginning

Beautifully Mindful

Moving on, breaking free, a time for living & being me
Won't you sing for me,
Please?
It's been so long
Since I thrilled to the trills and warbles
Of your living song
This confused and bruised winter
Has defied nature's logic
So, set the world to rights
And sing for me
To remind me
That I'm part of something
That still remains wild
And vivid

When was the last time
That you woke up
And smiled
Because you love yourself
Or because the sun
Was there to wake you?
Because for me
It has been
A very
Long
Time
