I am as much of a victim to my own nature as anyone else.
I wish I wasn't so destructive.

we wound in stars on old fishing rods;
reeling on promises from days where
the light still brought species, clutter,
schematic belief. you caught three. i
caught nothing, but glimmers of hope.

allusions and reality are often cleft,
though. this truth i'd rather cast,
like myself, over cliff-face. but, i
alone am
mutable in this scheme. you named
yours as blank-faced children, born
to the sea.
predictably, i named mine woe.

fate moves through seasons, sovereign
groups, ways set down to dot. the
object stands;
here lies truth. this is the truth:
pebbles form kiltered circles
under the dock. floating
above the architecture of my
ribs consuming churned
air, i watch me fade. i
discern and too, dilapidate.

you raised yours with colour
in iris. i picked mine up
lovingly-
this woe is
awake and tightly circling.
this isn't even about anyone. i think.

betterdays
i stand for a while,
ankle deep,
in the soft sinking sand,
at the tip of the tides reach.
the final inches of
the curlique wavelets
wash over my feet
and take with them,
on their return to
the brotherhood of
salt and water,
my footholds.
the water, refreshingly
cold on this hot muggy
summer afternoon.
i wade further in to
the calmer wash area,
after the waves have broken,
to about mid thigh
before
i dive shallowly through
the caesious waters
of the green room's
breaking waves,
and swim out,
to beyond the rise
and swell of surf.
to float in the
embryonic embrace
of the sea
my heart sings
with primal joy
at the saltinate communion.
after time slows, sufficiently,
i return to the beach.
and stand in
the pressing warmth,
with rivulets
of my mermaid self
dripping onto the sand.

1.Dear cat
eat my rat.

2.Lazy dog,
kiss my cat.

3.***** cat
killed my parrot!

4.Nightingale,
sing in my cage.

5.Pets come,
dance for me.

6.Honey bee,
remove that sting.

7.Weeping willow,
go to hell.

8.Sky lark
just shut up.

9.Flowing stream
aren't you tired?

10.It's frightening;
break that silence.
do we live in a bad bad world
pretending having a big big heart?

For hours we talked.
Exchanging jokes and smiles.
And just an overall feeling of joy.
And through it all you knew your mother was still in a hospital bed.
Yet you still can laugh with this lost boy.
You my dear are much stronger than I.

betterdays
at the present moment
my lexicology
lies midway
between
bavardage
and
toom
so for
the moment
i spare you
the
presence
of my prattle

Them
People stuck inside my head,
won't be gone til I'm dead.
Telling me what to do,
they told me to **** you.
Telling me what to say,
there is no any other way.
They tell me how to feel,
I'm a hamster in a spinning wheel.
They tell me what to touch,
sometimes it's a bit to much.
They tell me how to live,
for that I can't forgive.
They make me do unlawful things,
I'm an angel with no wings.
They say, I'm doing gods work.
it's getting fun, going berzerk.
They say my wings, put me in heaven,
all my kills equal seven.
They told me, I need ten,
it's just a matter of when.
They say, I'm about ready,
my last **** must be messy.
Them voices lied to me,
my soul never was set free.
After death, I was sent to hell,
it's where I landed, when I fell.
Now that those people are long gone,
guessing this is where I really belong.

I am a poem
Always naked.
Clothe me, and I disappear.
Institutionalize me,
and I become a paragraph.
