I miss my dog.

I definitely don't miss you. Or your ******* or your lies.

I miss the stability of keeping my life together in a familiar hell.

I definitely don't miss you, or the Tinder account you tried to lie about, or the friends you let disrespect me to my face in front of our son.

I miss knowing exactly what my day was going to be, even in monotony.

I don't miss you, or being screamed at, or being told I'm not desirable because I wear yoga pants to clean the house.

I miss having more free time.

I don't miss you, or being bullied for my hair color, or sleeping alone in a bedroom meant for two while you found solace in someone else's bed.

I miss what you could have been, but I don't miss you.
Ego
I will claim this, the power I have over you
The intense attraction that pulls me back to you
Onto you
Perfect fit, so easy, so simple

I don't have to think about how much I want you
That much is evident in the waterfall
At the end of the hike
Both of which I enjoy equally

But *******, the power to make you fall to your knees
The feast that you're willing to make of
The famished
The way you are so willing to drown
Just for me

How could I ever pretend not to feel like a
Goddess
again?
The dawn rolls out a new day
No past grudges
Embrace joy
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
reflect the stranger within my soul.
Unveil my strength, my grace,
expose my scars and flaws and all.
I am a tapestry made from frayed threads of a fractured heart

On a cold winter’s day
It’s morning
The air is crisp and cold
While the sky is bright
There’s no sign of warmth
People going about
Bundled up
Bodies and hands
Cold
Trying to create warmth
Cats seeking a spot of sun
Cafe clients sitting
Huddled together
Battling the cold
Everyone seeking
To battle the cold
Warmth
In fairytales spun with threads of gold,
Fantasy weaves tales, but truth untold,
Dreams painted in hues of perfection,
Reality's absence, a cruel deception.

Characters clad in virtues so divine,
Yet life's complexities, they undermine,
For in the real world, shadows persist,
Fairytales evade truths that exist.

In castles tall, love's kiss breaks the spell,
But reality's truths, a harder sell,
In flawed hearts, love's journey is strife,
Fairytales deny the tumultuous life.

Happily ever after, a whimsical notion,
Life's challenges scorn such devotion,
For happiness waltzes with sorrow's song,
Fairytales mask the struggles lifelong.

So, I loathe the tales with happy endings,
Reality's narrative, it keeps transcending,
In life's tapestry, flaws are an art,
Fairytales, a facade, keeping us apart.
I could be at the lowest depths
The most sunken death
But when I see the sea
That’s when I’m free
Safe
He's safe from the grave
Breathe
He's braver than me
I stopped believing again
He's seized more of life
In him
Ooooo

Too weak
Too weak and I'll leave
Two weeks
Two weeks and he's ceased
He fought for his needs forgiven
And see
I'll be on my knees
'Fore him
'Fore him
'Fore him

Ok

Keep it going
