suddenly we found ourselves on a road of poets
no one told us this is where we would be
and no one but would be poets would understand
to be on a road of poets is a less travelled road
but its the only road poets wanted to be found.

Motor mouths
clanging chimes

Open mouthed silence
speaks loudest

Poetical conundrum;
when to leave your ears hanging.

we sat around the fire in the sky
all of us
some were being healed
some in much pain
some being born
and some dying
some singing
some in a dark place where no song could be heard
but that does not mean that there was no song.

taken by the invisible hand
led into silence where stars shine
a peaceful presence of love abides
ready to do handstands and cartwheels
if that's what it takes for you to see love
see love in a man called Jesus.

God is a singer, a poet, an artist
shares the creator spirit
what could be more beautiful.

Give me a minute
To read the stars
Lamenting in their stories
Their laboured twinkling far and sparse

Give me this moment
To stumble and swoon
My branches reaching for
The faraway moon

Give me a while
To be one with the universe
Hear the colliding planets
As they spill their mournful verse

Give me some time
To plot my rightful place
Within my uncharted galaxy
And collapsing space...

Teeth bit more than they could chew

Hands grabbed more than they could hold

Shoulders lifted more than they could carry

Words mean more than they could've told

Legs travelled more than they could run

Mind thought more than it could fathom

Body gave more than it could afford

Heart paid more than it could ransom
