Sitting alone
  among my books,
  growing old within myself

A memory came back
  its reflection dim,
as I lifted one down from the shelf

Sitting alone
  among my books,
  I remembered—then remembered again

More than just words
are on those pages I wrote,
it’s my lifetime of searching—in print

(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2015)
Poor in stock yet rich in spirit,
my clock does bow and sway

In rags and tatters all unstitched,
with joy do I still pray

My flesh is weak, my home now burnt
   just embers to remind

Within this trouble and burning ash,
   on the hour
     —my heart still chimes

     ‘From The Book Of Prayers’
Like maggots on a piece of ham,
  the critics do their work

Devouring just because they can,
  to maim, destroy, and hurt

They eat through flesh right to the bone
  never missing one last scrap

Not even a scribbled, half-done poem
  —have they ever given back

Without you, I am colorless
Because you are the one
Who gives color to my life
Open light--
reveal the silhouette of morning.

Open still--
see every tuft we wish upon.

Open still--
count prismed dewdrops.

Open still--
awaken hearts at dawn.
Sunrise over San Pedro.
Here I am,
deep down...
deep down...
deep down into the dark night.
Swept up by
Sadness' stench.

I am floating nowhere.
I want to move my feet
one and then the other,
one and then the other.
I ****** my feet
faster than a boat propeller;
but I have two solid bricks of ice
where my toes used to be.

I am still floating,
deeper and deeper
into nowhere
until time and space
are lost friends.

Everything swiftly
slips
from my fingertips.

dear ex lover,

I wish you the best, i hope the next person you fall for doesn't break your heart like you did to me, especially when you go to a different state, i hope they don't think you're cheating on them, like you thought i was. I hope you're living the best life with them, like we were supposed to. Not all of us can get what we want. Everytime something goes wrong in my life, i'll think of you, because i know that with you i'm like a dog with a chain around my neck, but without you, i'm flying. No strings attached. No one to think that i'm doing them wrong.
From your ex lover,
K.F.
this is about my ex boyfriend, he hurt me in the past but it actually made me stronger. when me and my ex were dating, he told me forever and always. i believed it:/ he gave me a ring and promised to bee by my side...we don't always get what we ask for.
Crown of grace on his head,
Life on his lips,
The world on his shoulders,
Love in his arms,
Hard work in his hands,
Strength in his legs,
Endurance on his feet.

Mind filled with burdens,
But a heart so kind.
Peace is his breath,
Love,his language.

Empty stomach,
Yet feeding others.
Bleeding,hurting internally.
Yet clothing others' wounds.
THE MAN.
Do not
Force people
To see in you,
What they can not see
Effortlessly..
Because at the end of it all,we choose to see what we want to see in everyone.
