the amount of flames and gems you are absorbing,
you smile like you aren't afraid of anything
you bloom in the shadow of the sun you receive
the only flower in the garden, I believe

you hold a flag of your own
strong combination of colors to be shown
a woman of an island
a woman of the cave
even ghosts are shaking, trembling,
for being totally brave

made of wood from trees for creating fires and watching on forest
made of rock for building fortress
made of city lights, a never ending light
made of magnet, attracting everyone so tight, intimidating at first sight
made of paintings by soul, crafted
a dauntless stone hearted

Specter

Harkaran
That night the moon
Ascended reluctantly
To its nocturnal throne
That night I steered
my eyes expectantly
To its corpse cold glow
Under a crown
Rimmed with stars
I saw a specter dance
A faded memory
In a bone white frock
Night wind and grey hair
Soundless voice and empty stare
"Is this just good poetry?
In the moonlit park
Or are these the laments
Of your broken heart?"
She shed a single tear
On the cool of my palm
I said the night fares fine
I cannot hold what isn't mine
She laughed out bitter tears
"Don't hold it for long
Pick up your heart
Cherish what is gone
Bit by bit, piece by piece"
A heart can only break
When someone tries to reach
And plays with it at least

To the boys who just want to touch me
You must know that I am not a momentary happiness type of person
Overthinking is my forté
My name is not chastity
Nor is it easy rather
Difficult and complicated
Hard to crack open
There is no sweet center waiting to be divulged
I am more like the sun
A ball of pure fire that burns at the touch
Anxious at the thought of unfamilar palms and fingertips
Meant to be admired from a distance
I will warn you not to get close to me
For magnets swim in my blood
And I cling to no extent
I am
Surrounded by a force field
I do not let down my guard
So if you want to touch me
You must first
Learn to love me.

The Unspoken
HE
He puts the "L" in Life
The 'L" in Love
The "R" in Riches
The "J" in joy...

HE
subtracts the "F" in Fear and lets Me listen clear
The "P" in my pride dissapeared and now this ride couldn't be better
For some reason, since HE walked int  o my life, "Im" in my behaviour changed, they call me mature now.

For this reason am Bold no longer Old
Am Flying no longer Lying
Am Bright at he same time so Right.

HE simply changed the whole of me by doing the simplest of things.
Adding and subtracting letters to make me who I am today.

Unrequited Rain

It's not the rain
that makes my eyes wet.
It hasn't rained in forty days.
Nights are long and quiet.
The silence cuts to bone.

It wasn't rain that quenched the fire.
It hasn't rained in forty nights.
The well is dry... so am I.
Nights I sit in silence
while it rains.

I know your heart like I know the woods
Never getting lost but still left unexplored
I know your eyes like I know the moon
I see them every night as the distance grows

I know your thoughts like I know the wind
Where they come from and where they go
Softest breeze upon the tip of my nose
Carries smell of ashes and sometimes rose

I know your love like I know the desert
Without boundary and stretching endless
I know I can get lost but never lose hope
There are oases and roads leading home

I know your mind like I know the rain
The fresh expectant longing sprays
The yearning gets me through the days
I think of you after like petrichor stays

I know your fears like I know my own
Fear of loneliness while thinking alone
Fears clear as crystals and fears undue
I know them well because I fear too
