YOU
Every thing is wrong
Without you so I abstain
From all of these things

سچ
اِک تُو سچ ہے میرے مالک باقی سب ہے جھوٹ
تیری راہ پر چلتے چلتے سب کچھ گیا ہے چھوٹ۔۔
ik too sach hay mayray maalik, baaqi sab hay jhoot
tayri raah pay chaltay chaltay sab kuch gya hay choot

Weather is changing from time to time
But there is not even a single change
In the mood with which I recall you

منظر
بدلے ہیں کئی رنگ، فضاوں نے، تیرے بعد
اِک بار، تیری یاد کا منظر نہیں بدلا۔۔۔۔۔۔
badlay hayn kei rang, fazaao nay tayray baad
ik baar tayri yaad ka manzar nahi badlaa

Goodbyes
Would be
So beautiful
If they only involved
Embracing
And no
Letting go.
These goodbyes are becoming more difficult to bare.
Today one hundred forty eight were buried.
One of them was my son.
All fear of God from hearts departed,
Another war has just begun.
My heart is shattered in a million pieces
More countless than the stars.
My arms forever reaching but never truly grasping
My precious child now gone so far.
I still hear my son's sweetest voice
As sleep escapes from me,
"Mama, Papa, look what I have made!
I want you to come and see!"
But I turn and, alas, there is no one there
Just a room with a bed now empty.
Thoughts of leaving here, this torturous world
To join my son now tempt me.
Our children's lives were precious.
They had futures, they had dreams.
But now our children are sleeping, dead.
All hope is lost, or so it seems.
Today one hundred forty eight were buried.
One of them was my son.
But with God as my witness, his death will not be in vain.
A silent war has just begun.
Dedicated to the grieving families of Pakistan.
Violence is not the answer!!
PRAY FOR PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Meeting new culture, new nation,
Feelings and thoughts behind imagination.
Country with peace and hope,
With friends we can cope.

The captain of Pia 785 flight,
Believes in God as a light,
I Was sitting in a window seat,
I came for a friend that I can't quit.

I saw eyes with care and peace,
That nobody can't miss,
People with noble heart you can see,
Country with respect for you and me.

Pakistan touch my poetic soul  that shines,
We learn with so many different minds,
Lahore has so many treasures to see,
Like a bird I'm free...

To all my global friends.

Warmest Regards,
Victor Marques
A huge tragedy where children's died
You could see the sparkle in those children's eyes
The whole pakistan cried,
Its a shame for those talibans so called "pride".
I got nothing to hide,
Even I live abroad my heart  mourned and cried......
You have friends in the same war,
That you have never met before.
The world isn't the same anymore,
I came to Pakistan, to Lahore...

People playing everywhere,
Clouds in the air,
I looked for smiles and faces,
I found laces...

People like the Queen,
Simplicity that I Have never seen,
Windows open in Pakistan light,
I wish prosperity in their site.

Humanity is all about love,
God is looking for you,
The sky is above,
What can I do?

Warmest regards.
Victor Marques

Urmila
I've never learned how to let go,
And I probably never will,
I gave you the key to my soul,
You probably did too,
And while you waited for the perfect moment to unlock the door,
I jammed the key in too soon,
So I don't blame you for walking away,
Do whatever you must,
But don't expect me to let go,
Un-gracefully, let us self destruct
