I've forgotten how she feels under my hands
The way glorious music came forth as my fingers touched her neck
I held her in my lap and every note was right
She spoke to me so beautifully

The shape of her body
The way my voice danced around her
A song I had to sing
And I was happy

I haven't felt her in forever
But I still listen
Maybe such dulcet notes alive
Still strive to grace my life

Maybe life is not a game
But I play
And I'll play

I've forget the way frets make me lose all worry
I can hold her in such a way that makes a meaningful chord
Finding balance in her scales
And knowing harmony

The shape of her body
The sound of love and loss
A song I have to sing
And I'll know peace

Maybe life is just music
But I play
And I'll play

The Witches stir a cauldron
Encased in rust and mold
In it is burning fire
And many screaming Souls

They do not see the witches
They do not smell the stench
They only fight each other
With words that make me blanch

There are higher powers
Who constantly make war
They love the low emotions
And Thrive when there are more

The Witches stir The Cauldron
And laugh when they do see
Their victims fight each other
As they do continually.

And they may keep on fighting

Into ETERNITY.

I had long footnotes at one time. But due to my most recent writing, "prayer for humility" I've decided to take them down. I want no words railing against others to proceed from my pen. That is part of the problem not the solution. May everyone who reads this look at Alyssa Underwood scriptural references below. They are very pertinent. Evil has created a Punch and Judy show here on this site. The protagonists are like puppets being manipulated by Machiavellian forces beyond their ken. We must always remember that we are not battling blood and bone humans. But actual demonic forces. They love to stir the *** and cause people to degrade themselves with hatred. Let's stop it now. Whatsoever is Noble. Whatsoever is lovely. Whatsoever is of good report... meditate on these things. Thank you!

Stars are the eyes of the sky,
I look up to them
they look down on me
It's just us

"Just a few more hours
and the day will chase them away"

I think, from time to time
Oh, I'd do anything to put
this thought away

The sun will rise
and my only company will die
But, I will keep my eyes closed
and stay alone through
the brightest hours of the day
and I will only open them, when
they rise from the dead
as darkness comes our way

"There's nothing as beautiful as a black sky full of white stars"
I say to myself, every time
the night goes away

- Kaya
Asleep at night
in peace and serenity
Stars shine at the gloomy darkness
above me,
giving company to the moon as,
rest and dreams come my way

Hours pass,
And I wake up
To the noise of the world
Where I rise, open eyed,
And become a victim of gravity
Where I walk,
And become a victim of reality

Monsoon Rhapsody

I am rain on a summer day
Drenching drowsy, lifeless buds
Stirring them to a dancing wakefulness
Washing leaves dull and dry with dust
Dousing fire in a desert ringed inferno

I am the drizzle on a pale moon night
Easing into the heart with music
The melange of water humming with the wind
The splash of puddles in fields of barley
Gently filling thirsty river beds craving for a flow

I am showers before monsoons
Impregnating the air with soothing droplets
The hint of life in an oasis of colours
Breathing moist on a farmer's bronzed skin
Tingling the world with shimmering emerald

I am sawan, the monsoons
Winding my way through a chorus of clouds
Thundering my presence into the sea of renewal
Cascading on sandy shores that glisten with light
Whisking away waves of gold with jubilant darkness

I drape the land in arrays of greens
Scent the soil in my fragrance
Dance with the rhapsodic dance of the peacock
Wreathe petals into flowers that vine
And curve in the soil of growth.

This day
That rises after deep slumber
Peering  from a drowsy, flushed horizon
Rubbing eyes sleepy with morning dew
Hiding stars that wink unnumbered, scattered
And a moon that will diminish slowly, sliver by sliver
Rustling a cool breeze to ruffle the tops of trees
Scenting the sinuous rivers of a rain soaked summer
Unveiling earth, sheer by sheer only to veil the cosmos
Within the arms of the sun and the palms of the clouds
Holding the feathers of songbirds with wings like leaves
Their music no longer mute by the silence of sleep
This day - that unfolds like a flower, petal by petal
Waits for you, only for you
To embrace
And make yours
