nothing really owned
only your spirit inside
love generously
This time of the year which it generally is at this time of the year when the snow sits light on the Landseer lions, a white-out but who'd spend a night out in this?

The thin veil between being a success or one who will fail gets thinner still
there will be lonely this Christmas and far from home
those who are
homeless and penniless and chilled through to the bone,

what Carol shall we sing to them?
not God rest ye because there are no merry gentlemen
but there are plenty of mental health problems,

Landseer growls
his lions growl
the winds still howl
and drown out the noise of
those crying.
She comes highly recommended
It’s imperative; a must
To explore her in amazement
And feel her tender touch
Love is ever fleeting
There’s no one you can trust
The things we share
Cannot compare
To an evening full of lust

There are some people
who are better left in your
heart than in your life

To hurry and scurry and gather and gloat
To sit and stare and glare and bloat
To dream and scream and writhe and rage
Trapped all within a subtle cage
I’ve cried an ocean of tears,
And I know there’s more to come.

Our days on Earth are numbered
They have been since day one.

The tale of good and evil
Began with wanting more,
But all this endless craving
Has only birthed more war.

We were given all that's needed
To live, to love, to thrive.

But we keep taking advantage
And buying every lie.

Our gardens have been poisoned too
With seeds of greed and wealth.

Instead of helping others,
We're taught to serve ourselves.

But I believe that change is near,
And I know you feel it too
That stirring in your spirit
Calling you to truth.

We are the hearts that still can heal,
The voices rising strong,
The ones who walk through shadows
Just to help the light belong.

It starts with how we listen,
With how we choose to care
With reaching out to strangers,
And lifting silent prayers.

We’re waking from the madness,
The hunger and the pain,
To gather up the pieces
And begin to dream again.

Not dreams of gold or power,
But of justice, peace, and grace
Of every child and elder
Feeling safe in every place.

So let the tears keep flowing
Let them water what is true.
Something sacred’s growing now,
And it’s being born through you.

The world may still be aching
But your soul remembers when
We came to mend the broken,
And become the truth again.
something empty
in my life
feels less empty

there's a banquet of demise
in the sanctum of goodbyes
where the dance of lovers' eyes
leaves little sorrowed lights.

a victim of disguise
in persona's darkest blights
where a parade of trophy wives
free their bodies in the night.
For anyone interested, I've made my first audio available for YouTube. I've made a channel where I'll be reading some of my better works as well as new ones I create. Hopefully they continue to get better in terms of quality as I progress. Thank you so much, link below.

and then as you're leaving work on Friday evening someone will say, have a great weekend and you reply, thanks, but I was thinking of sewing my eyes shut and cutting all ties, now I have to consider what was said to me and whether it was said humorously or seriously and quite curiously I've realised that I don't care,

Monday will still be there
laughing at my grey hair
and I'll still be here
fearing for my sanity.
