let's start with how it ends so we can decide if we should color our hair or show up to work tomorrow or maybe decide what forgiveness really means

let's forget about the middle because it's not the part we will remember;  the weather is more interesting than love trying to be a couple

let's be the beginning, a fable of mystical animals, hopeful, fearful, open-minded,  revolutionary to our souls, exhilarating lovers wanting desperately for tomorrow night when our morals will be devoured by our lust

let's sleep apart where we can meet for the first time in a dream without form or shape; only emotions painting landscapes upon the loneliness we refused to confront for fear that the morning sun would remind us that shifting sands is time being stolen by oceans of selfish remorse

Marionette
She'll declare you lovely
And she'll clasp your hand and run you down the street
To the little coffee shop no one really sees
You will have coffee over a little chat
About how much she hates coffee
And she'll talk too much, and then none at all
She'll giggle and brush her 60s pin curls behind her ear
And her glistening eyes will watch you fall in love with her
And she'll have no idea

when you looked in to my eyes,

i had the strangest feeling,

flying rodents in my tummy,

retro waves came rolling in,

witches and their brooms,

soldiers at war , fighting and weaponry,

car crashes into the lake, with fire and debris,

clowns making entertainment amusing at the circus,

make you happy with one kiss unless its worth it,

stuck in a dream wave,

retro waves that came rolling in.

Security guard sitting alone
bank holiday, the nights soon gone,
he sits & waits to hear the phone
but nobody, thinks, he's on his own

Son & daughter far away
growing up, while he's growing grey,
soon to decide which way to go
their love hidden, unable to show

The last few years haven't been sweet,
Raynham, Vancouver, Sidney St,
roots torn up, hearts torn out
no wonder the only answer
is a shout

One day soon, my little Rose may forgive,
and let her loved ones begin to live,
instead of living the American Dream
as the second Miss Watts,
she'll gleam or scream
I love this so much

I just want to play along
I just lost my train of thought
Maybe this hiccup they forgot
The spoon full of sugar we gaze upon
Not to be noticed
Is the coldest
Time of year
Set of scenery
I'm not at a loss of words
I just heard them all
To keep from the intent to ****
I have to try real real hard
But someone is going to play my card
Call my bluff
Like I ain't tough
I bend not budge
With every nudge
 the knife gets closer
They made me
This way that I am
A personified monster
Man made cluster
But with every ounce of strength
I hang on
But why restrain
what's killing me to contain
Why should I refrain
What's doesn't **** you makes you stronger
But I can't hold on any longer

So what the **** am I suppose to do

Momma said don't let them see you break
Momma said don't let them see you cry
Momma said keep pushing life is hard
Momma said it's alright
But Momma isn't here to kiss my head and tuck me in at night

It's midnight another day I made it
So in my room I cry
Momma said don't show them mercy
So tomorrow is the time I try

How sad that every morning
I keep on mourning
The journey the my day should bring
It's as plain as
The same old story
We tend to hear
And the hardest part is I want to run away
But I'm suppose to take everything with a grain of salt

Where did the innocence go?
Doves turned to ravens,
Juicesboxes turned to bottles,
Toxic beverages leaving poisoned bodies to roam these streets,
Possessing personalities of *******,
Suckers turned to joints,
The high replaced the feeling of love,
Which could propel you to places beyond any hallucination,
Virgins mimicked, giggled at,
Wide eyed stares penetrate their skin as they stroll on streets,
Whispers fill rooms as their sealed bodies strut,
Jealous viewers stand, shattered,
With no purity to share with their loved ones.
Thinking their assets can be displayed for the public to adjudicate,
Maybe we're to young to know about love,
We're young, yes we are.
But what good is a young nation,
With poisoned , broken youth.
What good is a nation with no future leaders.
So I'm asking, where did the innocence go?
Tell me so I can know.
So I can replace the demons that lurk in these infants,
With the innocence that should gleam,
From their flesh.
