If
IF tears could heal pain
IF sympathy could stitch wound
IF prayers could bring back life
How different the definition of living would be then
if only we could bring back :(
You grind my hips
You tasted my lips
You held me so hard
I could barely breathe
Hell like heaven
Not magic nor spell you did
But I was enchanted
Then you asked me how I felt?

Grabbing me by your arms
Love, into my body you filled
Till I was bewitched
Till nothing was left
Wine you were,
You made me addict
You loved me so hard
That into my heart
Your name was sealed.
With your smile
All my scars you healed
And then you left
Like nothing happened.
just a thought
The terracotta shines in the westerly sun
when the man and the woman
fly on the temple courtyard
on the wings of time.

She touches the sculptured kiss
He stares at the ample breast
She blushes at the frozen mount
He awes at the curve and crest
She feels a longing to be his
He wishes seizing her for a kiss.

Shadows grow long on the burnt clays,

time to go separate ways.

Tryst
Do you remember when love was uncomplicated
Hand-holding, lonely fingers grasping,
Longingly, perfecting their grip?

And do you remember the honeymoon
Highs, up and up, dizzily clambering up,
Exploring new horizons?

And do you remember, precisely, when love emerged,
From clouds of chalked up experiences,
Foreboding as a mountain,
Where lonely fingers grasped,
Longingly, for fresh hand-holds?

The quest for loves summit rises,
Peak to higher peak,
Each conquered height unveiling a new vista,
Revealing loves perilous truth,
That each peak is surpassed by two more
And the summit remains elusive.

The fool will climb up and up,
Leaving a devastated trail of overlooks,
Ever unsated,
Ever yearning,
Ever lonely.

The sage will make camp behind a large rock,
Still aware of the mountains hidden presence,
But settled with a lightness of heart,
To enjoy just one wonderful view.
Being the second ...
it's getting scarier by the HOUR
OUR world will never see PEACE
PIECE by piece we're overpowered
overpowering us as our fears increase

we sit idle as hatred BREWS
BRUISED by the war torn SCENE
SEEN as only pawns to lose
losing all of our hopes and dreams

A Lopez
Scars heal
Wet as seals
My ligament's steal
Your fingers
Inside me.
She's nuts, and I keep trying to remind you that you're allergic.

Sia Jane
He asked her if she hung the moon in the sky
If she used a ladder from the ground
Placing it on the dewy grass of September
Planting roses in the soil below to climb
Up each rung of the ladder
Putting thorns in the feet of those
Who dare enter.
She asked him if he painted one more star in the sky
If he launched a rocket catapulting his soul
So high he could float long enough
To use every colour on his palette
Dropping to earth so fast he caught
A shooting star which he stitched to his heart
As a gift just for her.
The universe asked them if they both wore masks
A mask to cover each & every fear they have
If reality scared them more than their nightmares
If the bright orange sun scared them more than the dark
They both whispered in unison
"How do you know, that we do not?"
The Universe smiled, winked with a laugh
Asking them to throw away their fears
& make love to their dreams.

Yesterday I was ready to
tell you, all about what I'd done
for you to see me
in the light of day

the real me, not
the one I paint of myself.
Today, the paints cover
the very cove my body is

its sheltered hollow
recesses, each nook
hiding the darkest parts
hiding who I truly am.

If the sea was to part, no
if you could part the sea for me
I could know to trust
you, but here I am

alone, lost in thought, scared
to even dare unfold my body.
That is the truth now
not tomorrows, not

yesterdays. Can I ask you
to come find me. I
know I'm remote. There's
a lighthouse by the shore.

You will see me there.
The truth is hard to bear
even for me, & I want
no stone unturned.                 © Sia Jane
