Sworn to serve and protect is apart of your job.
But remember you under the eyes of others in society.
Who might not see the justice that the badge and gun brings?

One bad decision places pressure upon many.
And you're required to comprehend  this.
Cause you have a badge and a gun.
And your decision harms everyone.

If by quick judgement you pull the trigger.
And someone dies from it.
Most will look at the badge and the gun.

Saying , "I fear for my life" works in the eyes of a bias jury.
Who all honestly always side with the one wearing the badge and the gun.

But realize there will come a day.
When true justice will change everything.
Lest, we hope before revenge is turn on those wearing the badge and the gun.
"We're stuck in an endless loop", I told her

"As long as I am with you, their is no quarrel" ,she responds

"We're stuck in an endless loop", I told her

I shall never part the warm grasp of your hand", she responds

"We're stuck in an endless loop", I told her

"As long as your eyes, never walk out that door, I shall never deny my place beside you", she responds

We're stuck in an endless loop", I told her
But she was never there to begin with
All I remember was the filth
That was once her scent
That still has me broke and bent

anxiety

the feeling of being trapped inside your own body.

you struggle for air to breathe in and fill your lungs but you gain nothing. you cry; begging your own mind to understand you are okay. but your heart knows otherwise. you hide behind a wall of lies that have happiness written along them.

but your heart knows otherwise

you don’t just make her cry and hurt inside,

you make her scream at the pain of her own hands.

I came on too strong,
and I rubbed your soul wrong.
Now I'm strung along
by a silent, unloved song.

while we rest, our minds infuse with magnificent visuals.

are these wonders of what we desire,

or are they futures to be revealed?

for the free spirit can merely ponder of how sensational our dreams are the following wake

Do you remember
What we talked about then?
Lit by the thin moon and under the stars
They praised us like pedestrians praise oncoming cars
And we were inside, solving crimes
When we dug our graves that night

And I miss your touch like tomorrow's sun
Misses the moon and the horizon
It's a shame that it's the truth
A hundred bottles down are you still the sleuth
You were back then? With your tongue made of poison
Not everything lasts like the aftertaste of a bad relationship

she walks through the halls with a smile

she even speaks with ease

but her remains still shake at the sound of your name
