I woke up for the thousand time,
- a voice telling me it’s going to be ok -
And knowing that some days
all you need to conquer
                                       is yourself:
that space in you where new dreams are born,
that path taking you somewhere,
- the one filled with the craters of your fallen hopes -
But still leading you
to that corner of your soul
where not historical battles are won,
Just some battles. Yours.

The day you write a poem
is like no other!
It's like running through a dark corridor
and then you open a door
to this room full of light
that shines through you!
And you find yourself
conjuring words of hope and joy
fascinated in front of the endless
*beauty of life
To Peter, for reminding me how awesome it is to write

A vibration in the summer hot air
The bow gently touching the cello strings
The floating of perfect sounds in pair

Holding my breath -
                       I am waiting...

Life itself reflects in cello sounds
And I can finally feel it!
The gentle embrace of my heart!

In a split second
I can grasp it all:
       The happiness to come,
       The nostalgia
floating in the ever-changing rhythm
              - Of life and love -
All carried away by the summer wind...

My heart skips a beat
In the afterglow of that
                     serendipity moment:
The perfect sound
vibrating from the right string of my *heart
Canon in D by Pachelbel is one of the most beautiful music for me, cello version, piano, violin, it doesn't matter. Listening to it live in an Italian piazza was the special moment that inspired these lines

Do it to african musk.
Roll it like finely carved dust.
Hold it like dynamite just.
When angels fall, damage must.
Together bind it with trust.
Yet time goes on without rust.

Peering through crimson curtains,
Into the life of someone new.
Peeling away their layers,
Until all becomes black, just like you.
