play the hand
a twist of fate
pay the band
never too late

the red door
says a mime
Tia's encore
wrinkles time

SCHEDAR
She weaves worry
forming a fabric
that interlaces dread
a craft created by the
aberration of a single
vulnerable thread

He doesn't see what I see
Has he always needed new spectacles?
They messed with your head
treated you like the walking dead
Even said
Mirror Mirror on the wall
He loves you and married you
Get a new mirror
That is all
Ugly duck;ings are swans in disguise.

sandra wyllie
black as the night sky
brown as flapjacks buttered and syrupy
peach as a peach farm tree
red as my son’s skinned knee
thick as an alligator
thin as a high-school waiter
acned and wrinkled
old and pickled
fresh as a baby’s bottom
fallen as the leaves in autumn
every mole, rash and blush
is lush with life
and hasn’t been touched
by a doctor’s knife
aging isn’t flawless
it’s beautiful

Beyond

Beyond the eye can see is where my beloved waits for me,
Amid my despair he guides me everywhere,
Casted into this realm of mortality I dance with my sins,
Seeking to cleanse my accounts and embark on the journey within,
I sit in prayer,
I uplift in meditation,
I transcend the arbitrary.

My footsteps were memorizing
the cracks of the floor,
vines creep along the grounds
as the constellations,
they are the patterns to my wonderland.

Gold flush,
rose blush
You are beautiful in my memories
and I unlocked  the box of my dreams,
wounds are deeper than to what I feel
Stitched with the strings I tied to you,
People are vines as they fall in despair.
