Reality why don’t you align with my dreams?
It seems to be a parallel journey, never to meet
And reality is casting a grim cloud over my dreams
It’s time to pitch reality against dream
To fight it out at the ring- Smack!!
Now, I have to decide the winner
And hold the hand of the winner, and accept the verdict

Dust settles on us for we remain motionless
The mites start to live off us, as parasites do
******* off all the common sense still remaining
Even our vision diminishes with the accumulating dust
Unable to choose our own course for the future
As we have slowly and prematurely turned to dust
One day the strong wind blows away all the dust
Without a trace, we fade away from this world

If I'd but known that I'd been given
but one Love in my lifetime
I gladly would have walked
the road alone

For surely to have the Love
of your life, the mate of your soul
so violently ripped from your arms
and your heart after so short a time.

The pure agony of no longer
having that bond,
I'd rather have remained ignorant
than left with such despair!|

Why is it that i cannot see
