take me to the mountains
where my spirit can roam
take me to mountains
so I can walk on their welcoming loam*

in the mountains the birds sing
such a sweetness of song
this is the rightful place
for my heart to belong

deeply seeded within the soul
the mountain's beautiful hues stay
when I'm amid the fall colours
my joys happily parlay

take me to the mountains
where my spirit can roam
take me to the mountains
so I can walk on their welcoming loam

the mountains call me
with a returning refrain
oh how wonderful being
back home in this domain

for too long I've been absent
from the mountains I treasure
everything about them
has a sheerness of pleasure

take me to the mountains
where my spirit can roam
take me to the mountains
*so I can walk on their welcoming loam

Say I was a sea captain in that life.
Say I sailed a barkentine, the Eloise,
on the Azores run out of Lisbão.

I was a sea captain in that life.
I sailed a barkentine, the Eloise,
on the Azores run out of Lisbão.
I found a green disc under my bunk
and instantly knew its use.

You have taken my books.
You're no sea captain.
The color you paint your toenails
is that of weathered brass.
The salt on your neck
and in your navel tastes
vaguely impure, like spray - delicious.

Say I was a sea captain.
Say I had a dinghy named 'Alouette.'

I was a sea captain.
I had a dinghy the crew called 'Woody.'
She sang when the wind stroked her ribs
and the spars rattled. Never mind.

Never mind the night breezes off Mosquito Island,
the roll of the berth as we lay
at anchor in North Sound
plotting our run to Anegada
so you could see Pomato Point
and what the chart called 'numerous coral heads.'
That morning, with Fallen Jerusalem
to port, you said four prayers, one each
to your gods and a last one to Sunday,
which you had neglected for years.

The swell in Drake's Channel is rising.
It will rise all through the night,
and if we are not too drunk on this fine black ***
we will rise with it.

I may don't know you
But we connect
We may belong to different countries
But we connect
Two different religions
But we connect
Dear aapi
Aapi ..it's not a poem ...just my thoughts
For you ..you are beautiful

I stumbled into you
Then we stumbled home
Now my living room is scented autumn
And there's beauty in the decay of a sweet memory
Just down the road of stairs was a flower on my couch

Let's hangout this weekend
We can garden in moonlight

Your vibes pull my heartstrings
And I'm flooded with the new song you play
I'm lost to replay it and have you hear
What a harmonious melody our notes produce

*Stay longer than my denials.
Those three words will never be enough
To tell you how much I really feel
Even if I could catch all the stars in the sky
Of this ever-expanding universe
And fit all of them in an artisanal bottle
It would not suffice for half of the feeling

My heart could jump out of my chest
And sing the most beautiful ballad on earth
For hours upon hours upon hours
Until it shrivels up and dies
And it still wouldn't do

I could write you millions of poems
That each have millions of stanzas
And it would never be able
To tell you how much
I love you
I really don’t want
People to know
That I always long for you: mum

Long gone in 2003
A day before my fourth birthday
I long for you ma
You are the best person whom I’ve ever known
I love you
But never had showed you

I thank you for your love
That you showed me
For only a few years
I don’t blame you ma
God never gave you the chance
It’s His own wish
He wanted me to be termed” an orphan”
I’m sorry to say this

I only have three individual photos of you
And only one where you have your bro.s and sisters
But where are my siblings?
I don’t have!!
God never gave you the chance
Why you ma.? Why??

Stabbed in the heart I was
You turned a knife inside my heart
And you still do
But though dead
I love you.

I stand on the pathway with blank eyes,
With a big frown staring at the sky;
I see the darkness behind the sun light,
alas, they could read the fear in me with an insight.

But they don't, as there is no darkness remains here after,
It is only my fear, fear of failure which is masking  the joy with a plaster.

I know that fear will lose the battle one day,
and inner strength will join the hands with joy.
allowing me to see only brightness behind the sunshine and no other darkness hereafter.
Remembering the struggles of my past and how i overcame it with positivity. Hope this happiness and optimism stays with me forever.
