Poetry's for all,
So may it come, too,
     From all.*

Should the prodigal sphere of daffodil
Finger your hair divine with its powers
And hold a communion of flower to flower,

May my heart flatten like a humble plateau,
So when you smile the smile of the City of Bacolod,
I can clumsily tell you the poem of I love you-s.*

We may have forgotten
Some memories,
     But we cannot
          Unlove.*

To fully understand this is to bridge
The hundred islands of Pangasinan,
Or to darken the sands of Boracay.
I say, let alone the confusion,
The thrill, the beauty,
And let us love terribly, fully,
Crazy, and make sweet follies,
In the simplest way
We could ever know,
Saying,

Love does not ask,
And does not answer.
It only feels.*

Looking at her eyes,
Her eyelids must be
     New galaxies.*

To embrace her
Is to be dandled
     At her lap.*

Pretty color, pretty smile,
I hear your loudest cry
     Inside.*

Love is like the wind,
So just keep rushing in.*

A fleet of ten
Reached ten
Peninsulas,
Then came
Love.*
