Leda 5.28.25 (7:12 pm / 19:12)
i don’t know how to escape
i’ve forgotten how to run
all i know is white feathers
and trapped, held down

afterwards, what just happened
what do i do
where do i go
who do i cry out for help to

now the sky
is not where i go
far away,
i’ll never be alone

[inspired by leda and the swan by william butler yeats]
Lyn-Purcell Jun 2020

White rush, wings and flesh
Hearts beat fast in lust and ******
Godseeds in the eggs

This poem is inspired by the myth of Leda and Zeus
Mythology will always have a place in my heart!
I may turn this also into a series, I'll let you all know when I do!
Be back soon with more!
Much love
Lyn 💜
