You were a whole chapter in my book,
But I was merely a sentence in yours.

Call me mad
nevertheless
I truly believe a life  
Without poetry
Would be a poorer life
A less happy life
an artless life  
A life without color
A life without tongue
no sounds to be heard
A life empty
of any real meaning

The closer I get,
the farther I'll go.
Your Brown eyes pull me in,
Your amazing scent lures me closer,
Your warm hands bring me to you.
