Suffering returns with a vengeance,
Causing pain that inflicts wounds.

The injury puts us on the sideline,
Interrupting stability by tearing balance.

Now that harmony is broken,
A new mission must start to reenter the game.

A quest to restore steadiness must persist,
Or else we will forever sit on the bench.

Because of our determination to rise from agony,
We tend to find a way to run normally on the field.

A great quest is satisfied,
Supplying meaning with necessary reason.

Now a new journey must begin,
In order to satisfy a fresh appetite.

The latest craving is an essential battle,
One that inspires cause in life.

After strong purpose is fulfilled,
A war with powerful ambition is hard to find.

Discovering another objective can be brutal,
Walking a rough trail with no destination.

With a campaign stimulating a movement,
Motive triggers aim by forming a crusade.

Mental illness held me prisoner,
As dread controlled my cognitions.

A hostage that could break anxiety,
Held captive by my own demons.

Forced into a life of isolation,
Hiding to avoid society’s flaws.

Needing to conquer apprehension,
Struggling to get out of my chains.

Declaring war against my fright,
Bravery had to prevail to beat horror.

Fighting panic as phobias resisted,
Battling an enemy that denied living.

Courage broke breakable steel,
Made from fear that was meant to fracture.

We were not meant to be puppets,
By doing a dance act through manipulation.

Humans are intended to put on their own show,
A play with people controlling the plot.

The tale basically has two themes,
A destined path to good and to evil.

With the power of freewill,
We choose our own ending in the story.

A higher power lets us decide our fate,
Letting us choose between love and hate.

Wanting to promote a righteous cause,
But confused in an enormous maze.

Imperfections appeared with each mystery,
Leading to unwanted acts of contempt.

Even though sin led to punishment,
Grounds for virtuous principles meant to shine.

Needing to find the right trail in life,
Battling for virtue in every aspect of living.

The inner demons that prevailed were conquered,
Discovering survival without sinister tactics.

Conflicts explode into intolerable scenarios,
Inciting a need for any solution.

Each time justice goes unserved,
We tend to generate vengeance as a remedy.

Whenever life becomes too unbearable,
We can experiment with artificial happiness.

Struggles in the real world are brutal,
But we can’t fix harm by causing harm.

Battling confrontation requires reasoning,
Using logic to conquer unwanted circumstances.

When success is present through fortune,
It’s easy for us to ease the fighting.

Battling less while glory is achieved,
Maintaining greatness after a long war.

Misery is usually in a brutal dispute,
Shedding blood and tears for progress.

Anguish is trying to win,
Attempting to earn that chance.

Whenever goals are acquired,
Never forgot the road that was traveled.
