Sun pours a bucket of gold
over the striking pink
fluorescent fuschia
bougainvillea
welcoming
weary travelers along
the dusty road


a song stirs in my heart


I turn towards His
blazing face
renewed, restored
illumined

I bathed in the Ganges
washed away my sins
slept near Her crystal shores
Like a lioness she pounded
rocks into powder
devoured our illness,
suffering.....mortaliy

We may be physically distanced

It was raining robins
at daybreak

Dozens of blazing red *******
surged through the
clear azure heavens

Little Cupid angels

through the air

A smile and a hint of spring
blossomed in my heart

Honey bee thinks
my rainbow umbrella
is a scrumptious flower
with ginormous petals
it blooms rain or shine
while I am seated on the
black wrought iron bench
next to the purple porter ****

Uh-oh...
his pinstriped black
and amber body
buzzes
a little too close!

Earth renews Herself
again and again
Ocean spits out
what doesn't belong to it
See The Shining face of God
reflected in the clear
blue pellucid waters

With garlands of roses I bow down
at your feet, Mother Earth

I bow down to King skies
and the one seated on
a Golden throne

I bow down to shimmering
stallion waves galloping
across shores of eternity

I bow down to the tiny ant
scurrying across my path

big and small

Oh for a nice cup of
vanilla red roobois tea
A fragrant brew that always
puts one in the zone

Grinning like a Cheshire fairy
I reach for the aromatic tea bag
plugging in the glass kettle
I notice something quite magical
a rainbow in the teapot!

Ahhh yes...
As I settle into my favorite spot
and sip the enchanted infusion
unicorns, elves, pixies and rainbows
frolic merrily through my head

I'm running up the hill

high speed
towards You

past rocks, hail stones, pitfalls
so many lives...
stories
joyful and tragic
where are they now?

up the mountain
over tombstones
freshly fallen tears

there's a marshmallow moon
next to fluffy heart-shaped clouds
with wings

Sky goddess serves
morning tea to the
sun star under a tent
of azure veils

All around us beauty dances
scatters rainbow gems
and garlands

I am flushed
and stoked
with anticipation
my head brushes the
outer reaches of space
galaxies sail past me
eyes witness such wonders

Your astounding Vastness
has entered me....

My Beloved
boundaries of
name and form
disappear
in the all-embracing
rapture of You

I serenade my Lord
before morning dew
leaves shimmering kisses
on jade green blades of grass

My heart always pounding, pining
paining for even a minuscule glimpse
of His saffron robes rustling in the yellow breeze

I brush away misty blue tears, fog rolling in.....
lest they obscure
His resplendent view

O Sweet One
How far away You seem......

I've vowed to do what pleases
Him
after all to secure Him
is our whole existence

Vital breath, the song we all share
emanates from
Him

Red Rivers, streams flowing
through our veins, arteries
originate from Him

Resplendent Sun that dawns
awakens each day
is sent by Him

I press His hand to
my fluttering heart
knowing without Him
it is a hollow, empty shell

How can I, or anyone

Chain around my neck
hands and feet are bound too
I choke back tears

solar disk circling your forefinger
with very breath I am reborn
a lonely soul destined to die

How I long to wear
the garland of your love
around my neck
imbibe the Prema
that every jivi consciously
or unconsciously desires

swaying in the pearl gray mist

we saw red dragons and

half moon in the sky

but tonight!

the Azure dome

The Shining path
flickers in and out
like a candle flame
when I cast my eyes on the world
there is shadow
when I cast my eyes on You
there is effulgence

Lord Shiva can breathe
life back into us
His breath
Sing His breath
alone on Mount Kailash
snowflakes orbit like
white butterflies
around Him

I am a love crazed butterfly

Snow in His hair

shimmer of diamonds
still and serene
He sits in Samadhi
otherworldly...
as if carved from the
crystalline glaciers
of the sacred Himalayas

In Him
worlds stop
and start

a rose falls to the Earth
He awakens
eyes aflame....

I rise up like a bird
like a swan
to meet Him

Lord Shiva can breathe
life back into us
His breath
Sing His breath
alone on Mount Kailash
snowflakes orbit like
white butterflies
around Him

I'm sitting near a lake

in Crane Roost Park
but the Ganges is
flowing past me

Condos and skyscrapers
Pierce The horizon
but all I see
are snow crested majestic peaks
of the Himalayas

Oak, Cypress and
Palm trees ornament
the parks perimeter
but all I see are
Bilva leaves
and fiery Palasa trees

People walking their dogs,
pushing baby strollers,
runners pounding
the pavement
but all I see is....
Shiva, Shiva, Shiva
