THE SUMMER’S WIND!

As I walked the lonely beach the other day,
You had come in like the summer’s wind,
blowing in from the sea miles away!
You blew around enclosing me with your
swirling turns,
And made me feel as if I was momentarily -
in your loving arms!
You rekindled memories of days when we
walked the beach hand in hand,
When we had playfully built our castles on
the golden sand!
Those days when your kisses were thousand
miles deep,
And I in your arms use to fall fast asleep!
Then with the turning of the tide you went
off into the sea,
Never looking back to see what has become
of me!
Now the waves wash my feet as I walk the
beach all alone,
And you remain in my mind playing like an
old summer’s song!

you fooled me with your eyes
you snuck into my dreams
ensuring my demise
poisoning my mind

and now I can't look away
from eyes that won't see me
I'm left paralyzed
by a ghost who won't see my eyes

my thoughts are poison veins
your memory is my pain
you've never even seen me
though you haunt my every move

and now I can't look away
from eyes that won't see me
I'm left paralyzed
by a ghost who won't see my eyes

I'm left paralyzed
ensuring my demise
you snuck into my dreams
and fooled me with your eyes

(Should someone get inspired after reading this poem to compose one with a similar Title, at least she should have the decency to acknowledge the same!)

THE BELLY DANCER
   BY RAJ NANDY

The sparkling dazzle of those chandeliers,
Transformed the night into an endless day!
And underneath its ignited glow,
The belly dancer's hips gyrated to-and-fro !
With her semi-veiled face and mesmerizing eyes ,
And the rhythmic quiver of those half-clad ******* ;
Her belly button a vortex of tantalizing desire ,
Hypnotized all those assembled guests !
In the smoke filled hall as the drinks went round ,
With eyes all glued to the central stage ;
The music echoing the Arabian Nights , -
Swept them beyond all clime and age !
The Oriental music raced their blood ,
And ignited the night with the heat of desire !
Who knows, before the night comes to an end,
They all may be consumed in that eternal fire ?!
                                           -Raj Nandy, New Delhi.

Notes: I had painted in oil a belly dancing night scene
inside an Egyptian Cafe few years back. This poem was
composed by looking at that painting hanging on
my Study Room wall. If you like it, kindly recommend
this to your friends also. Thanks! -Raj

People die.
But their stories live on in the hearts of those
who had loved them.
Like the fire which has burned out.
But the ashes still remaining.

The memories wiped out
after years pass by,
Like the ashes swept
Away by the wind.

Yet the trees, the sky, the sun,
They all remain witness
to the life that was once lived
to the laughter and tears it shed.

Immortal therefore to nature,
Is the fickle human soul,
It lives on forever,
Witnessed by the sun, moon and stars-though ages may roll.

On my mind all the time.
You have something special,
That makes my heart race.
Every single time,
I see your pretty face.
You're so amazing,
And purely talented too.
I hope I can be friends,
With a person like you.
When I'm around,
You always act in the kindest way.
And when you look at me,
It completely lights up my day.
I've liked you for a long time,
And I still fell the same.
I know this sound so cheesy,
Silly, and lame.
But I just wanted to write to you,
Exactly how I feel.
And I promise,
That every single word,
Is from my heart,
And real
I wrote this poem for my crush and it means a lot to me.
Enjoy! :)

You're crashing into me like waves on the coast
Every time we talk, you move in close
Wrecking ball dancing down the hallway
You're holding your shoes, wearing my shades
We fall against the door,
we fall into a wild warm kiss
By Blake Shelton, not mine
An enigma always surrounds her cool countenance,
Reminding a silver cloud surrounding a mountain peak.
Only on  her mirror I loved seeing myself, than in any other,
Yet it was a permanent wonder; what was the secret of her mirror?

A fine, clear mirror, she hands me over, hand crafted, excellent!
Every bit an example of her impeccable taste, that made me hers.
In it I reflected positively different from the way I imagined myself.
Suddenly dawns the ZEN:She makes the real difference in my life !
