Diamonds are too clear
But rubies we love to

Who cares to be the fairest
Rubies are the

Like Barbara

Her sparkling candlesticks
Double Indemnity roulette
Those Rebelites statuettes

And how the ruby hooked
on her cultured pearl string
Being pushed over one ruby
My gems got
stretched
like marionettes don't sleep
you will be changed
Into the Gem Bodysnatcher

Just ditch her fake ruby cup

Always wanted to be
reassured Ruby Jubilee
Stabbing her jeweled

Her ruby could be
locked up and stored
It better be insured

People were naked
without their power
of rubies
She sat so confidently not
to be

Looking at the

Monsterous devious maids
Took her for everything

Ruby loves to blush

With Frank Sinatra
Gave Lana Turner a cluster
That was just

Just light her flicker
She was the gem of
the trade
The real boot

the kicker was Jack of
all trades the shinning
But Frankly, they were the

Something you call

You said these boots
are made
for walking
that's just what
they do

One of these days these
rubies will walk
all over  you

Artsy Aristocrats

All ruby for sucker pins

Her belly went in
The functions

But reproduce love
Over my ruby heart, you won't

With you every day’s beginning
Is seeing old things anew.

You aren’t coy anymore
I haven’t to prove anything
Yet as the day unfurls
I act a boy you a girl
That pretends to guess
Something new in each other
Playact a fun chase
Pick pearls together!

Your lips aren’t that red
Mine parched almost dry
You aren’t anymore shy
I don’t have a flowing head.

It happens yet everyday
While we re-walk on the trodden path
We find each other a renewal

I act a boy you a girl!

I work up to 60/70 hours per week and ***** around on F.B & Craigslist. We had weeks of debating the poor and how some leech off the state. Had people hollering leech to all poor people even the ones in cities like Detroit where they said blacks love living on welfare and they uneducated and they come from the planet ghetto *******. Not my words but they exist in my city with population 15 thousand. Poster on Craigslist challenged community to playact we were broke,
contact dhs and get info on how much a poor person with number of your own household gets per month along with food stamps.

To make it seem real, I took out the exact amount I would get if I was a poor person. Gave possession of check books and cash and my own house key to my dad and told him what i was doing. He said good luck son you wont make it on state aid. It was cheating but I did keep my car cause no way in hell am I waiting hours for a bus and walking on busy S. Airport and streets such as Garfield is dangerous. I rode that bus when my car was getting new tires and a tune up and it smelled bad like sweat funk.

Funds are put on a bridge card, that's cash aid and food stamps here in Michigan. I thought with this small amount of cash how in the hell will i survive?

I discovered pretty ****** fast I could not afford rent and best I could afford was a nasty room in a place in downtown are where poor people rent rooms and no one should be living in. I wouldn't let my dog stay there and I felt like I should be packing a gun for protection. No minorities but whites who are down on their luck. Could not afford the small deposit even for that nasty dump. I cheated and bunked with a friend. That place is what you wont see come film festival or cherry festival time.

Forget having enough to buy healthy foods. I could afford bread and high carb fattening **** that nobody should have to live off. If I was poor I could not afford fresh produce I'd be eating cheap **** I could afford and if I had kids it would be far worse off.

I quit after a few days and would be hating life if I was poor.

Northern Michigan craigslist posters are notorious for flagging truth.
They flag and remove what they don't want to see on forum when it
don't agree with *** backward  views of our good citizens.
They run people off with ignorance and now some like me have come here
and now see some of the ignorant have followed and joined this site posing as poets.

Found this when I went to site from a person claiming to be on vacation in Florida
but keeps posting and posting on our Forum. Poster now claims he is in *******
that "drooling halfwit" always gives this one who changes locations away.

" red cross (*******)

Let me get this straight, you can afford the internet and a car but too poor to buy gas??Bet you wish that fake boycott worked stupid. You drive around looking for free handouts so you can drive around. This story is such *******,just like you.Get a job lazy drooling halfwit.
Location: *******"

Posters originally posted months ago but keeps renewing same post. This posted after someone  was refused gas by the red cross while red cross volunteers sat there eating their lunch. Person was driving around on fumes. You try telling this idiot people down don't stay broke forever and you get posts like this one from idiots.

I did not rely on hear say, I made calls to red cross. Red cross does not provide gas money to walk ins and they provide help in unexpected disasters BUT not to poor people already homeless. They did build a luxury hotel on property bought using donations but I can't tell you why they built it.
We fall so hard. We dust ourselves off. We pretend that it doesn't hurt, that our knees aren't bleeding. We walk on, our heads held high, trying to exude a dignity we lost long ago. We look at the others and think that they are different. We want to believe that they are stronger, yet we wait for them to fail. We rationalize. If the superior, the brave, the proud, the unbroken, can stumble, maybe we don't have to be ashamed. We all crave love as we make ourselves hard to love. We're all the same. We turn a blind eye. We pity ourselves. We loathe who we are. We make unfair comparisons. We make excuses. We accuse. We playact. Sometimes I can hardly stand.

Perform playact, strut your stuff -
Always a fun time,
If you know how to bluff.
Make love all night, night turns to day -
Love under the sun,
Love in the shade.
Give it free or restricted,
If it's only kept to yourself
What's the difference?

WHEN BREATH BECOMES AIR
WHEN BREATH BECOMES AIR
(Bijoylakshmi Das)
(Dedicated to a Young Brave heart departed much before time,
Life's only Truth is Death, stark, pure and sublime.)
It's when breath becomes air,
The little 'SELF' confined to its narrow 'I' comes to a cease;
All sobs of agony in a new rapture finds an ecstatic release,
The World departs from its narrow periphery of YOU and ME.

It's when breath becomes air
The Subtle matter merges into the subtlest Vast,
A new Birth with vernal promises is ushered upon Eatth;
Still the Brown yearns for the earnest Elysian compromise,
The mortal's journey to the Immortal afar in awakening's rise.

It's when breath becomes air,
A twilight splendour trembles in the tremulous Vast,
The Soil's life, its love and passions of an Illimitable mirth,
The softening lips, and the sweet kisses of the nearest Sweet heart,
All fade to the distant horizon faint, forsaken and cast aside at last ;
Alas! The little blossom is yet to come out of the surrealist romance!!!

It's when breath becomes air,
The spirit begins to seek the beginningless Soul in the infinite stretch of the sky,
The Journey is eternal, endless but the enlivened Self rises high;
Creation's breath goes on ceaseless,
the finite relaxes at ease,
The anguish of the age-old attire tired of earthly toil longs for a deathless demise.

It's when breath becomes air,
The world drama dies death in the silence of the immaculate Sublime,
All lyrics of life transient are lymned by the One Poet in His unwritten Rhyme,
We are ALL in ONE and ONE in ALL in the Supreme playact of the One Alone,
Breath is Air, and Air is Breath - Life's unalterable Principle of Unique Oxymoron forever goes on since ageless Aeon.

THE DISTANT DREAM
The Earth is a wonderland
A Privy to underworld dream,
Will you dare to scale the heights
To reach the Invisible Realm?

Scares you in dark the scribbles unread
Words on its sheen,
Lustre-clad lies deep
The hidden miracle's mystery within.

Do you long to fly to its azure sky
Spangled around with divine hues,
Day shines bright with the Sun at its helm
Night sparkles with splendorous dews.

The wind wraps the soft sweet murmur
Of the distant mountain stream,
O Man! Be not lost in your stupor
Awaken to its oracular visionary dream.

The indwelling Deity lies unworshipped
In the inmost heart's sacred Shrine,
You have fallen prey to the senses
Of the most tenebrous beastly kind.

The Playact ever goes on around you
Nature plays the magic wand,
Your Soul is given as ransom
To treasures of the fictitious merryland.

The maiden's beauty maddens you
The allurements of her enticing lips,
Your freedom of choice is at stake,
You are Antony in ******* of Cleopatra's kiss.

You are playtool in the hands of the Supreme
Swing to and fro in anguish and ecstasy,
For you know not how to stay uninvolved
Not to get merged into mind-rapt phantasy.

Your body is made of flesh, bone and blood
But you are the Spirit blithe and free,
If only you could make the Tryst with Supreme Soul
In His celestial spree.

You are tiny blossoms in His vernal garden
Open up petals to spread fragrance,
Life on Earth is a sacrifice perpetual
You are only witness to His Mystic Dance.

The Real seems to be far away from you
But He sits silent in your self deep within,
But you dream of Paradise in the vacant naught
Things transient are your only cherished dream.

Go not wild in the life's welter
Seek for the Bliss incarnate thou art,
You are not born to mingle into the mundane mud
Your human goal is to reach the Omnipotent.

You are pure, immaculate, the magnificent Soul,
Dream no more the earthly mire
Make dreamless Infinity, the Vast your goal.

IN FREEDOM OF GREATER HEIGHTS
(YOU inspire, I write)
O Clouds of the sky!
Heaven's miraculous magnificent Mirth,
You are pure, pristine and sacrosanct.
Unsullied by the human mind and
Its petty desires of the Earth.

O Journey of the recondite Vast!
Towards Infinity's Bliss forever to last,
The Lone Voyager is alone, all alone
The stretch of Eternity is lost out of my human grasp,
Still lives in Rhapsody's resplendence
At the mortal physique's transcendence.

O Dream of the Distant Dreamland above!
To reach your dreamless state I do always rove,
The Ecstasy afar though forbidden but the Mystery profound,
Alas! I don't fall asleep
I am in your sweet soft clasp.

O Beauty of the soaring heights of the Immortal Sublime!
Your innumerable hues sing the never-ending rhyme -
Of the timeless Symphony that goes on untold in the Supreme Playact.

O Love's Elysian outpour!
Keep your door azar,
Do wing my forlorn moments of vain despair
With unforgettable mirth,
And moon my sleepless hours
With your gleaming Delight living-worth;
Your star-spangled rapture plays hide and seek in the azure Blue,
How I wish I could reach your deathless abode and the summitless
summit forever new!

O Splendid Splendour of the formless Eve,
Mystic, marvel-rapt with the bachhic felicity,
My mind untrammelled tries to fathom the fathomless Epiphany vast,
You sit sovereign enjoying my frolicking past.

O Freedom's frontierless Elegance!
Eternity's celestial everlasting Romance,
The firmament's elevating exuberance,
You sit formless, shapeless in an all-pervading Illimitable Existence. Your Love's lisping lullaby
For the toil-torn fatigued Earth -
May enliven and enlighten her
In your magnanimity's magnificence,
To breathe anew and blossom forth
into the New Angelic Birth.

IN MEMORY'S MIRROR
When memories turn into silvery snowflakes,
Beauty loses brilliance in her bright sunlit path,
The Moonlit marvel speaks no more Delight of the forgotten past,
Your sweet soft footsteps tread upon Mind's woodland vast.

Your azure dreams to explore the forbidden fathomless beyond,
Where Love plays miracles with her ever-compassionate heart,
The Earth turns into El Dorado at One's all-pervading Glance,
Your eyes I do admire in infancy's long-lost playact.,
All that we dreamt on Earth and all beyond,
All that we aspired to reach the Unknown Summit,
Where sits alone, all alone the One illilimitable Ecstasy,
We are just tiny specks of dust fallen down from His Feet.

Our Mind mirrors in Consciousness' all-embracing expanse,
Earth's pleasures turn futile in the shoreless Beauty's magnificence,
We have crossed limits of transience in Omnipotent's transcendence,.
No longer two Souls apart but united in a single Whole in Infinity's unique Trance.

Life no more enchanting, Death casts no more its sordid snare,
The endless journey repeats forever with no mortals to admire,
The Soil is too much for us, Breath becomes air with heavenly exuberance,
The Elysian marvel delves into our Being's immensity vast.

To brook the beatific brilliance in our new Divine Birth,
The Godhead seeks Body's chamber illumined, ennobled and sacrosanct,
The celestial twilight's splendour revels in the aureate ascendance -
To make the new Journey iconic, noble and classic in a Puissant Vast.

THE SUPREME RENDEZVOUS
(Bijoylakshmi Das)
Dusk fades in the horizon,
The stunning Sunset scribbles
A few squiggles significant
On mind's firmament vast.
A magnificent masquerade
Of life's emotions and frolicking past.

In a prescient Presence
Lurks the golden future amazing and forever to last.
The enlivening Dusk fades far away, Giving place to the solemn Dark its way;
Lost are bygone days' dusts of despair,
The ocean within the Self laves the shore
With tiny turbulent waves,
And the stars soon begin to drop
Their scintillating mirth.
Inspire to rise above Earth's transience,
All its lovelorn and anguish-moist clasp.
Walk alone to the shoreless Vast.
Your journey nears the end
The Golden Door to meet you is azar,
Oh Traveller! Think twice before you go far
In this bizarre bazaar.
You are welcome, Oh Human
Dweller!
In your mortal warp.
Your awakening, though
A little topsy-turvy
Only in the beginning.
Cast off your mask
Of frailties and failures:
Your incomplete evolutionary act.
Be an active participant
In Eternity's joyful playact.
The Supreme Felicity
Awaits you at the end of the tunnel dark.
Memory of the mind mortal
Fades far
Recedes further too all past solicitude:
Purely ephemeral.
In the faint fading gesture
Of twilight unsure
Your joys and fear of death
and mundane departure
Of so-called dear and near.
All lose semblance
In the Supreme Artefact.
The One Truth wraps
The whole Creation's Amazing Vast.
The Love of the One Beloved
Is pure and sanguine
And Omnipresent.
Like the morning sunshine
His Grace never failing,
Lulled by Solitude's Silence
All-embracing!
His Infinity's Height ever ascending
Matter and Mind transcending,
Undemanding!!!

Dusk fades in the Horizon
Darkness looms around,
Hopes' immensitude
And Joy profound.
Unfasten your futile ***** -
Tied to strings of the Earth.
To reach the Illimitable Mirth
The Mystic Fire is lit
In your Immortal Birth.

I've spent a lifetime
being replaced with the
family you married
into next.
I've been left behind
walked away from
and ignored.
Saddled with your
responsibilities and never
once thanked for feeding
and caring for the others.
Only replaced
or abandoned
or harmed.
There was a darkness
the second time you
married and we all
suffered, of course we did
but don't pretend
you didn't know.
Don't playact as a person
who didn't see it all.

We sat in the kitchen
and had our heads
shaved by the hands
of violence you brought
into our lives.
We were told to be men
to grow up.
Not to make faces
not to cry.
He'd pass out on his recliner
drunk before the flickering
blue television light
as I balanced our checkbook
at the kitchen table and
wondered about the knife block
and the deep dark Appalachian
woods just beyond the
flood light on our back door.

Eventually the night came
where you couldn't hide it
from the neighbors anymore.
When lights touched the darkness.
I'd left by then.
You escaped as well.
Too little...
But perhaps not too late.

Before he was born you asked
if I could forgive you.
I wasn't sure.
I'm still not.
He looks for you in the
spare room you stay in
when you visit.
He wants to see you
on my phone.
He loves you the way
I did once and I invite you
I beg you
Please, please this time
after everything that's happened
love him back.
