Nights move  like a forgotten  ghost unwanted by all.
A vision  unseen to all but one.

Down damp streets he haunts the same path every night just befor the dawn.
The empty hearts gather to drown togther in the sea.

Togther feeling so very alone.
Can we cast shadows in the darkness project happiness in such gloom to return the   same old haunts again and again.
A wheel  rolling  without question.
On into the emptyness of my night.

Waitting for a return that  never will be.
Cursing the problem never understanding it was her and me.
As the dream turn to the drunk.

The painter paints no longer sunsets but
Nights and his thoughts of blue to gray.

Warmth in the darker corners gives a view to
the young and  the still hopefull.
Tiping my half empty glass I wish them to never know pain.

Finding a home with other empty hearts caught.
In ***** sheets im haunted by the ghost of my
former self.

A puddle stepped in cast waves of reflected neon light.
As we play a roll unknown to all
At typewritter  I sit.
Listening to To the bar and bottles clatter men and women's
laughter and soon forgotten fight.
Yerning to be free so is the emptyness of my night.

On The Way To The Show

Tommy's usal worry had already been set into overdrive
due to a car that ran on some sort of strange voodoo
that seemed to hold it togather and keep it
from exploding well at least hopefully while we were in it.
Tommy was a ***** but he was a ***** with a car.

Susan silent in the passger seat sat there as
always driving my over active horney teenage
imagination insane as I struggled to think of anything
but the curves of her body and how she would look
without that low cut top  nothing more awkward
than a ***** in the backseat with your best friend beside you.

Who like a demented child would know doubt see your awkwardness
and being the true friend he was say hey look this ****
looks like he's ready to go camping he's already pitching a
tent.

Rick was proof the missing link did exist.
And unlike some people who were unfairly given
nicknames lived up to his with every breath he took
Rick the *****   what a **** of human to bad
he was my so called best friend.

But rick the ******  attention was not cast apon my
moment of utter utter awkwardness  and
soon to be blue flustration.
No he was to fasinated by are resting friend
Tabitha who's dont **** with me or i'll knock your **** in
the dirt mentallity was wasted on rick who
if he should ever come across sleeping beauthy
would probaly think  hey why not **** her.

Dude watch this ****** gonna be awsome.
rick had seemed to gain some sort of ninja
skill as his stealth like hands he must have gained
from trying to **** his sister.
Like some  ****** up car wreck or to big girls fighting
over the last cookie my eyes were transfixed
apon this sure to be disaster.

As this wasnt the best fuel for my situation
Ricks hand slowley slid his hand up her top
for ***** sake stop ****** I tried to say
but my mind was on auto pillot
and the crew was ready to party so to speak.

Rick's devilish glee was that of a child on christmas
who had probaly stole some other childs bike.
well that is till the sleeping dragon awoke.
Tabitha  like some  sleeping wolverine sprang
into action placing a wicked hit to the ***** that made
a sickening thud.

Once was best cause people like Rick could
always get a mail order bride and he
really shouldnt reproduce.

Tabitha much like mike tyson in his prime
had a lotta power  and little care on who she used it on.
As soon a slap met my already semi embaressed face.

What the **** tab?
Thats for going along with it ******.
Befor I could utter a another word another
smack greeted me now shut up *****.
So as any strong man would do comfronted by a
a she banshee awoken from her coma I shut the **** up.

But Tommy in his usal stages of male *** hadnt got the memo.
knock it the ******* back there.
I have to admit it was fun seeing tabithas fist colide into the back
Tommys head.

As Susan just remained silent probaly fearing for
her life.
As of to the Concert slash festival we went.
five friends and some human punching bags.
cramed togther in a vehicle slash death machine.
For one last party Me Rick, Tabitha,My mental *** partner Susan
And Tommy the ***** with the car.
Something told me this was gonna leave a mark.
This is part of a longer story im working on cause befor i was Gonzo
i was a awkward  sorta  weird wanna be writter and *** starved
dare I say semi normal   okay far from normal guy named John.

hope this doesnt bore you to tears cause its all down hill from here amigos cheers.
let me be the person you lean on

I bet I could make you smile

Share your secrets and your dreams with me like I'm your bestfriend or lover

Whatever it shall be I'll still hold you down babe

I bet I could make you smile

sometimes you'll forget how to breathe

When you laugh constantly

It's how you know your alive even when you feel gone though

I bet I could make you smile

I swear...
All I'm lookin' for is something that's forever

You know I just want someone that I can love and trust

Basically hold the bond togther

I want to believe in
In a thing call love

So let me just lie here, I'll kiss you and then drown in your eyes, dear

I bet I could make you smile

Baby, I'll never do you wrong
Let's never wasted time
Babe

Settle down and let's make love now endless to sound
I wanna say all the beautiful I never said

I bet I could **make you smile
Red ribbons  around the streetlights.
The lights from the commadore theather
are a reflection of the past.
Coblestone streets the historic district across the water
buildings are lit  haunting  shadows over the water.

Once  a year closed streets seem to travle back in time.
Roasted penuts  street corner preformers.
Familys togather homeless on benches not all is beautiful and bright.

Sweet city so cold and gritty.
Christmas lights like neon signs call to my jaded soul.
Horse and carrige ride down by the water.
New lovers getting lost in the moment an season.

I sit apon the steps of the old church share a bottle with
My new best friend  smells of the city echo back to another time.
Lights and sounds reflect a holiday on highstreet.
Hands held  togther  when  in another  life it seems you
were mine.

Cold are the streets  carols fill this night.
If only more than once a year.
We could embrase this spirt.
Then trap it for one peaceful day.

The traffic apon  Highstreet  is  is slowing
The festival crowd is fading.
The bottle of christmas cheer is almost gone
so along with the I must  be going.
high up in the mountains where the hillbillies stay
they all get together dance the night away
folks all get togther party all night long
with there hillbilly sound and a hillbilly song

fiddles and banjos and the steel guitars
they dance the night away underneath the stars
a little bit of moonshine puts dancing in there feet
dancing all night long to the hillbilly beat

dancing all night long to the hillbilly sound
dancing all night long till morning comes around
fiddles and banjos and the steel guitars
they dance the night away underneath the stars

high up in the mountains where the hillbillies stay
they all get together dance the night away
folks all get togther party all night long
with there hillbilly sound and a hillbilly song

IN THIS TIME OF FREEDOM
IN A GATHERING PLACE

LEADERS FROM MANY COUNTRIES
OF EVERY RACE, HOLD ARM AND ARM

THEY MARCH TOGTHER,TO SHOW THE HUMAN RACE
THAT UNITY TOGETHER, IS MORE POWERFUL,THEN KILINGS

WHAT A STRANGE PLACE WE LIVE
WHERE WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM
FOR OUR OWN HUMAN RACE

WE MUST ALL NOW COME TOGETHER
AND EXPRESS OUR THOUGHTS
BY ALWAYS WRITING
AND SHARING OUR THOUGHTS

Stop!

Can't get it togther
My frenetic thoughts
But my Molasses-in-January responses
My dreadful fear and apprehension
My lack of motivation
And my struggle to use time wisely

You are my eye in the hurricane
My Help in the midst of the storm
You are my Refuge
Even though quite often
I practically give You
The *******

Oh, thank You for Your longsuffering
For Your mercy
For Your faithfulness
For Your belief in me to rise above
For my heart to keep beating
For my lungs to take in more air

You are my Hope
You are my Shield
You are my Light
You are my Song
You are my Source
You are Everything to me

My God
But not just mine
There is plenty of You
To go around
To anyone who asks
And that is why You are
Above all that ever existed
Or was made by human hands

Broken hearts
need a jump start
Broken hearts,
so ripped and torn apart
Broken hearts,
immortalized in art
as the martyr of mankind

All around the world

Those cardboard people,
they exist everywhere
Slaughtered souls
seen upon the streets
Like paper, they are 2 dimensional
People who walk about
just like sticks
People a centimeter thick
go about their way but
Who knows where they’re headed
Can’t go very far,
ripped and shredded

All around the world

Whether they are mentally battered,
physically battered,
spiritually battered,
battered by poverty and disease
or battered by oppression
they have lost their way
because by a throw away society
that exists today
they are now tossed aside
and on the inside
they feel nothing

All around the world

I think you get the picture
of what I'm trying to say
Cardboard people
have caught the paper disease,
a little gust of wind
and they go blowing in the breeze
Little weight to hold them down,
They are descending sidewalks
with their tattooed frowns

All around the world

They pass us on by
but few of us
really look anymore
at the souls who
are torn and tattered
their hearts bleeding
and quite shattered
Often we wish not to
be bothered with
their sight
Consumed with our problems
and not with their plight

All around the world

I have to remind myself
to not look away,
not wanting to be reminded
that I was also there
A card carrying member
of the Broken Heart's Club
and still at risk
must I say
But God sought me out
a scared, lonely girl
as I felt no place
in this cruel world
Judge them not He commands
It does not matter
how they met their despair
Broken hearts
need to mended,
and can be repaired

All around the world

I imagine the human race
as refined paper cut outs,
delicately designed,
exquisite and fragile
in their intricate beauty
Once linked togther,
hand in hand in unity
were we
But  we are not puppets
but are free
to choose whether to love
So the world was torn apart
by those who have
hardened their hearts
and the broken pieces
are now scattered everywhere

All around the world

So I wonder when
we will ever learn
that people are not paper products
of this thoughtless world
A world in a hurry to look out
for its own interests
as it continues to go about
And I wonder when
we will ever learn
that people aren't like dollar bills,
Something that crumbles and burns
Spent away like paper currency,
Used up like old money,
Flimsy, worn and past the urgency

All around the world

Broken hearts
need a jump start
Broken hearts,
so ripped and torn apart
Broken hearts,
immortalized in art
as the martyr of mankind
young lovers know that traggic passion blind to failure
blind to everything that doesnt see them togather.
So in early morning passion just befor light.
they slip off togather dreams and hope taken along
for the ride.

long brown chessnut colored hair flowing out the window
along with are dreams.
A fence post marker the road togther holds
a certin magic it seems.

Love made from state to state
the waterfall to which we did race
skinny dippin togather by that old forgoten place
Your naked  beauty etched within my mind along with
the hapinees reflected from your face.

Broke down in blue springs Missouri.
Now i dont question why your eyes
were overcast with worry.

Apart the nightmare cant erase thoose nights spent
laying in blissful silence your head apon my chest.
Memories depend apon your view.
I 'll just kiss the that jasmine scented southern
breeze for the rest.

My darlin I ask fingers interlocked
with time my heart what shall be
are plan.
A tear touches that vision of a face.
As you recall the memories of when togather we
ran.
It was in the summer we crashed  in a wreck of  awkward bodies.
Two drifters lost,
Togather found  a demented teenage passion.

Two junkies clean in a *****  thought.
A outcast a ***** far from labels in a rejects refuge.
Runaways stumbling in a confussed state.

We fixed only to share a sweet addiction her lips
still tatse a bitter sweet strawberry in my thoughts
erased I wonder did she ever know?

Broken wings tattred  love isnt always true.
Many can have the flesh few a womans soul.
The rain did keep a steady rythm in that abandoned car.

Tracks the needle  kisses of exceptance thirst we all
shall in time.
But that is but a watercolor  cast eternal
within the vault of my mind.

Held for moment I wonder did you fade cold.
As the epitapth  draws blood  from thought.
I can only ******* past  as you speak gentle in the harshness
of what was then a nightmare of  a love i relize now.

Sometimes  such treasure's are cast aside.
Lost souls embers of emptyness from this city.
And the backseat from which we did confide.

And if the lines did ever connect and i found you again.
fragments would recall togther it wouldnt  know
the truth of my minds lie.

I hold you in thoughts as once i did in arms.

I wonder  if only for a moment if you ever knew.
In the ****** up  backdrop you were the
one that knew me best.
A jokers thought addicts  in  nights gentle
dream.

Goodbye honey maybe now you can finally
the peace you so do desserve.
Dedicated to a  E.F.  some debts  in soul we pay.
love always  John.

A fireflys  glimmer  burns in nights fading.
Dreams we shared cast stories.
Within the well you filled.

Streetlights cast are vsions time takes us away.

We've stood togther at the crossroads
I've always been ready at the fork in the road
With my boots strapped tight and a map in hand
Trying to help lessen the weight of the load

We are never there alone though
So my offered guidance you refuse
You hand half the load to stubbornness
And one of you two choose

My choice is to follow along cautiously
Or head down a different road alone
Leaving you and your friend stubbornness
To venture off with all I own

Before I know whats happening
I'm following in the rear
Lead down the path you've taken
On a dark road to despair

It's the same story everytime
You eventually regret the choice
It's always here, in the middle of no where
You start to hear my voice

Miles back, in the light of day
I stood to block the way
But it wasn't my decision then
So you chose to ignore what I had to say

Here in the darkness, surronded by danger
Huddled next to me, your friend stubborness becomes a stranger
Suddenly you depend on me
I'm looked at as the game changer

Thats when the tables turn
Now I'm handed all the gear
The strength you both had earlier
Has crumbled into fear

I get us to the otherside
We are grateful to be alive
For a short time I'm the hero
I'm the reason we survived

But like a circle goes around
The cycle starts anew
At the beginning of another crossroad
I'm left following stubborness and you

— The End —
