William Blake
I Dreamt a Dream! what can it mean?
And that I was a maiden Queen:
Guarded by an Angel mild;
Witless woe, was neer beguil’d!

And I wept both night and day
And he wip’d my tears away
And I wept both day and night
And hid from him my hearts delight

So he took his wings and fled:
Then the morn blush’d rosy red:
I dried my tears & armd my fears,
With ten thousand shields and spears.

Soon my Angel came again;
I was arm’d, he came in vain:
For the time of youth was fled
And grey hairs were on my head

Jealousy crept upon me
like a poisonous acid
I didn’t like it, but I couldn’t help it too.

All that friendship and love
destroyed in second
just because of a tiny grudge?

I couldn’t understand it
and neither could anyone else
why was I so irritated?
why was I so rude?
everything was crude.

I knew I was causing a hard time for her
but I simply couldn’t stop,
whenever I saw that overly perfect face
My body somehow conjured extreme hate.

She wasn’t the problem, it was I,
I, a person who didn’t feel good enough
for the world, for my love
this feeling of despise was spread from my feet to my scruff.

Alas, I still haven’t gotten rid of this feeling
and inside me, my heart it is peeling
Maybe she won’t remain so perfect anymore?
or maybe I will turn sore? who knows.

I like you today
then not tomorrow

You were my forever yesterday
He is my love in this hour

Green is my favorite color
Next week, in my eyes, it'll be sour

See, I'm this kind of person
Pleased with everybody
With no particular reason
Hates somebody
For the gaze he shots

In a few months
I'll surely come back
In your extended arms
That's where I want
To look up
At the stars

Independence  day, a day to celebrate the birth of a nation and those who fought and currently fight to keep it free.
It is something more at least to me ,it don't have to be limited to just the forth of July
We can have Independence day any day
When some one gets victory over Alcohol or drugs, it is an Independence Day
When someone breaks free from abuse, it is an Independence Day
When troops come home after war and get to be back in their loved ones arms, it is an Independence day
When the Lonely  finally make a friend, it is an Independence Day
When the Prodigal returns to a loving family after years or being away, It is an Independence Day!
When emotional chains finally break loose, it is Independence Day
May the rockets blaze across the sky, raise the banners high
It is Independence Day!!!

I was above the clouds,
cloaked in silence.
descending
along the ridge line.

Placing one foot
in front of the other
& clawed to the ice,
I dreamt of you,
everything about you,
from you sweet wiggly toes
to your beautiful lovely face.

I was in a trance
thinking of romance
& how I wanted
to get into
your pants
when I got home.

But it was the sound
of a nearby avalanche
that snapped me
back into reality.

The snowfall
woke me up
to remind me
I had to make it back
to base camp
first,
before I
could even begin
thirsting for you.

This is just another love poem set to rhyme
Really no need to waste your time
Whether it's love you lose or love you find
It's just another love poem so nevermind

Just another love poem in your hand
Low on ideas, still high in demand
Been here for years yet to be banned
Another one of those poems way out of hand

Just another love poem tossed in the breeze
With just enough umph to fill a few needs
One or two I love you's with a few you love me's
Just another love poem brought on the scene

Just another love poem to come cross the wire
Just another love poem pulled from the mire
Just another love poem to jump into the fire
Just another love poem in dire need of retire
