in a cage
labels as chains
hope as the key
left on the outside
fear as the walls
surrounding me
all to forget
the real animal
it lies within you

your fingertips may never graze my skin
But they have already touched my soul

so fragile
     like glass
destined to shatter
     but when the sun catches her eye
nothing else matters

At how broken i am.

For the amount of stress
I may cause in the midst of your
Efforts of trying to keep me held together.

That every time you pick a piece of me up,
