Trigeminal Neuralgia
Hunting the marrow of my brain,
Raptor talons feast through flesh,
Shredding tissue with each tear–
my neurons scream.
And as pain pulses in violence,
I’m swallowed by a cloud–
The external muffles, then drains,
Leaving only the talons.
