These last few months,
I have been learning how to
separate myself from my past,
my mistakes,
and all the heartbreak
and mind ache
that I have endured.
It's easier said than done,
but I do believe we have
the ability to reinvent ourselves
and love others unlike the way
they used to 'love' me
