Her eyes were sky bound
Searching
For that specific shade of blue
For that shimmering silver hue
Reflecting of the lonely moon
Seaching
For that falling star
A celestial sign
To make a wish with tightly shut eyes
Searching
For a cotton shaped cloud
To play the childish game
Of turning it to images of rabbits and hounds
For shades of pink and peach
When the sun rises and when it goes to sleep
For God's smile
Among all that beauty
Her eyes were sky bound
When others lowered their eyes
For what beauty holds the soil
That is not held by the sky?
When I walk home from college, I just gaze up and admire the beauty of the sky, especially when the sky is deep blue with snow white clouds scattered, almost unrealistic, like a cartoon. The sky is truely marvelous
