There is beauty in the way you breathe,
Such perfection weaves paths into my heart,
It's the fact that you can still smile without
My presence that's tearing me apart.

I cannot dwell on the past, I spend
Every night weeping over you,
I'm incapable of letting go,
Powerless though it's unhealthy to do.

It's time for me to give you up,
At least that's what my friends say,
I'm not prepared, I love you too much,
I have lost faith in finding the way.

You are the only thing I care about,
Never have I felt this much before,
What did I do wrong to push you
Into thinking you need something more?

Are there any words I can say
To earn from you another chance?
If I could I would take back all of
The pessimistic "Nos" and "I cants"

I'll change for you, and prove my worth,
Make you understand how deeply I care,
I promise I can flip my life upside down,
I'll be better than I was, I swear.
