I was very afraid,
So I held that blade,
Having a low grade.

Not possessing hope,
Didn’t know how to cope,
So I stayed in bed while I moped.

Thinking the end was near,
Living in complete fear,
Craving that alcoholic beer.

Fighting for what is right,
Needing to see the light,
So I can exit the night.

Sick of playing Russian roulette,
I had to stop being a threat,
Or else I would be caught in the net.

I cut myself out of the trap,
Found the proper map,
Now ready to run each lap.
