How is it that the winds gentle push And a sun's golden rays Could make an autumn's end so comforting? With its lights and colours distorted by a fading sky As the sun begins its descent beyond the horizon Where its sleep awaits
And it was while the sun shined its final rays That I saw the last leaf fall All the way to it's elegant doom
It dove ever so gently Dancing Waltzing Its ruby red tips trembling As they skimmed the crisp flesh of the evening
It was today that I witnessed the last piece of a vivid autumn Get carried away to a world beyond mine Where all seasons go to die
