The Darkness Eats Away
The darkness of the water surrounds me,
engulfing the flame of my life.
The light of the sun has been erased,
Cut like paper with a knife.
The rope hangs above me,
the stool is still and my feet.
But it has been cut a long time ago,
So it I cannot defeat.
The scars on my arm are real,
just like the moon and the sun.
But the sun is dark,
the world no longer is fun.
I sit down and look at the desolate sky.
Why was I here?
Why must I be punished?
What is it that I fear?
One day the darkness will recede,
and I will bringΒ Β forth the light.
One day I will stop suffering,
and stop the eternal fight.
But the darkness will always be around me,
and I will never be set free.
I am open to requests just message me anytime
