This is just a house,
Home is far away.
These shutters mean nothing,
Nor these halls in which life plays.

This is a just a building,
Or perhaps even less.
It holds nothing for me but
Insurmountable stress.

If I escaped into the night,
And hid away in some decrepit place,
Nothing would change,
I would not see your face.

Our tale is abusing its welcome,
It refuses to end now;
We've managed to keep it
Flowing along somehow.

Here or there,
Without you it is pain.
Without you,
I have little to gain.

Without you,
My heart won't be the same.
Without you,
I cannot remain.

Hold on.
Be strong.
Hold on.
However long.
