And she knew how depression could make you feel And with those thoughts she swore she’d always think of him
And she knew how easy people could break hearts And with those thoughts she gave him a warm and tender hug
And she knew how painful some days could be And with those thoughts she closed her son’s eyes forever
And she knew how losing everything could feel And with those thoughts she embraced with smile her only son’s death
And some people would look at her smiling face And they would think that maybe, just maybe, she was happy that her son is dead And those people were partly right, just partly, for she was glad that her son would not suffer at all
