Remnants of Love
In the aftermath when memories and futures crumble
Her heart will break,
Her heart will cry
And so will her eyes
He
Is blind
His heart lies
And he is gullible
Words and actions say he’s fine
Days,
And weeks,
And months pass bye;
And his lies cannot stand the test of time
And her heart is mended
She is fine
He misses her
She is gone
