Sick of trying to keep pace with this rat race that is laced
with cheesy dreams that leave your mouth with a rotten taste
yet we move on with hast racing in a race of people that hate their own race at a pace that would disgrace and keep us in last place
after all that has past,
this is still the truth that we face.
even with a saving grace -- many innocent lives still go to waste.
the difference might be skin -- but spilled blood has the same taste.
