Captive by fear
Frozen in shock by your death
Missing your guidance
Wondering if you are truly at rest.

Did you get your wings back?
Can you soar in the sky?
You said you were my angel…
So, why did you have to die?
This poem is about an ex-boyfriend that killed himself.  He left a note saying that if he couldn't be with me, he wanted to die.  That is a lot of guilt for one person.  Very selfish, but I know it wasn't my fault.
When it comes to food
I don't have to say no.
Ana says that for me.
Through her eyes I read
calorie labels like death threats.
Together we write love songs
to my collar bones.
We beg my thighs never to meet.
Her touch soothes my hunger.
Ana tells me that pain
is just my stomach applauding.

Others come and go,
but Ana never leaves me.
Her name is stitched into my skin.
Tattooed on  my body
Till death do us part.
Very rough edit! I would love some suggestions and critiquing! Should I write more on it? Should I leave it? Anything :)
I met a man with a wife.
She was beautiful-
Eyes as wide as the sky,
Just as blue, too.
Her hair was long and golden,
Falling past her chest,
Just to her midriff.

It was late when he first saw me,
Four years younger than he,
Plain in comparison to any other-
But lack of beauty didn't seem to matter.
And so he spoke-
Begged for me to follow.

But who is worse?
The unfaithful man,
A broken promise, a sham,
Or the young woman,
Not ignorant to his ring,
At lack of love for wanting
To pretend that promise was hers?

And what is love,
But a broken promise?
A broken ring?
I'm not sure it matters, but,
He said he was a Christian.
I first saw her at a party
Skin Tight jeans and Farrah's hair
She glanced and smiled in my direction
Trouble's brewing and it ain't fair

I knew right then I had to have her
Couldn't get her off my mind
I'd take her home and I would show her
A love of the most carnal kind

Where there's smoke there's always fire
Don't be fooled between love and lust
You've got to control your hearts desire
'Cause the fires hot and you'll end up dust

Working late without no distraction
The new secretary walked on in
I knew right then that I had to have her
My mind was thinking of only sin

She had a ring upon her finger
I didn't care, I had to know
She was selling and I was buying
I had some wild seed to sow

Where there's smoke there's always fire
Don't be fooled between love and lust
You've got to control your hearts desire
'Cause the fires hot and you'll end up dust

Running practice for all the kids
Getting sweaty with soccer moms
There was one standing there right beside me
I had to have her...and get me some

I made a move and she responded
Flipped me right onto my back
I thought here she comes, it's gonna happen
Then she kicked me in the sack

Where there's smoke there's always fire
Don't be fooled between love and lust
You've got to control your hearts desire
'Cause the fires hot and you'll end up dust
I have had woman
probably ruined a few of them
stolen their innocence
let them **** me
**** me
love me
and then i left them
swollen
and alone
while I go off to another one
or some bottle
shaped like a woman
skinny at the top
fat in the middle
and good to the last drop
either way
i leave them
empty
cold
and alone
naked on my floor
never knowing
that my love
is reserved for what they have inside
the things they never see
