Behind the cattails
Hidden from everyone's view
I see her tail twitch

She is so alert
Focusing on the river
Never minding me

Beautiful feline
Sitting beside river's edge
Watching the water

Finally I see
What's captured her gaze so long
Swimming little fish

She bats her paws in
The water to try and catch
Tiny, scared minnow

She will never leave
Or give up before she will
Attack her own prey

But then she sees it
Walking through the tall green grass
A tiny field mouse

So she crouches down
And creeps up behind her prey
Now she will attack

Now her claws eject
The cat huntress, she has caught
Supper for herself

Proudly she picks up
Her prey from off of the ground
Then she heads for home

There she shares dinner
With her family of four
Cute baby kittens

Just a poem about a fictional cat huntress
Who has caught dinner for her kittens!!! :) ~~~~~<3
However, I dedicate this poem to Lady Jane
And all other cats out there!!! :) ~~~<3

Wake-up with the pill bottle next to me
Other side is the girl that had *** with me
I know she doesn't love me
I just flaunt some of the money
Then they wanna come see

Get out of bed when they start to kick in
So amazed how I got all these prescriptions
Pill caddy because today I'm on a mission
Driver is out front
Time to put on the front

Get to the office, bursts of motivation
See my partner do it-with no medication
But things are fine, no reason to whine
I got it all

But when I define all, it's where I fall
Money, drugs, mansion
And no hugs from a honey or some laughing
Who will I share it with?
My computer I just stare at it

Give my tasks to my secretary
Because, that's why I pay you, Sheree
I'm just the founder
With a bold face to motivate

No more brown nosing
See, now they brown nose me
But as the clock hits four PM
Look at all our profits, yeah I see them

Time for my downers so I can mellow out
All the guilt, time to throw it out
Let's go out, Sheree
She says yes, not to me...but to the money
Yeah I admit it kinda hurts...
But its all in, A Day's Work

~

The soft earth yields, I watched from above
Little by little it opens, inviting
Rectangular spaces of mudded thoughts,
sifted by *****, piled of fear

Granite dominoes stand in lined support,
dates moistened by dew…counting
Carved in regrets once felt,
loves never shared

Voices from the trees cackle,
laughter it seems brings the sun
Good riddance on fawning meadows breathes
and the sky turns to red

Applause echoes valley’d intersections
where traffic lights sing as
cars stop for a quick breather, waiting on the green
and I see it all

Life goes on even if in minus,
faux tears fill tissues, a scented kind
all the while checking their watches
hoping for a quick release

Oak and imitation gold are lowered, polished indignity
Carnations are tossed, dying as they fly
No one remains…remains
except the quickly forgotten…
What started long ago,
and made me partially blind.
What ended long ago,
and startled my mind!
But,
In retrospect, I am fine.

From
Hazy sun
to mediocre fun,
From
Morose days
to major hedge-ways.
Life was definitely kind.
But,
In retrospect, I am fine.

A while, not long ago,
the days started to become bright and glowed,
the nights became bearable &
the heart eventually stopped singing that popular ode.

In introspect, this was a self created debacle.
A product of my own design.
and

In retrospect, I could have been, all along, fine.
In the glow of the August moon
when silents falls upon the city
as the chapel bell does chime midnight
I stand by your graveside waiting for you

I hear you pounding within the coffin
hear you're rage, the screams to get out
come my love arise, I call in a dominating tone
and do uncover soil to get to your wooden prison

Lifting the lid of your casket
you just leap into my arms
my love, we will be married soon
in the glow of the August moon

I was born of Love
Live in love
Am love

Born of love
I've been a child born of the spirit of the wind, rays of sunshine, the song in birds and the boldness of an animal!

Although ones soul gets shaken once in a while by the aches and joys of this world the earth still carries us.

Introduced to this world as if you are a universe in yourself, glittering eyes of love...if these people adore me so much then there definitely something about me and my role in this world through these Gods I've come to know as Queen Lindiwe of love and laughter & King Modisane warrior of happiness and enlightenment!

Those who pass on, pass merely because those left behind don't know it yet but they stronger than they let themselves believe!
Prince and Princess of this kingdom carry in their essence, the spirit of fallen Gods that use to walk the earth in human form!

Your greatness shine through me your seed, flourishing everyday always know I have  in my essence and presence your spirit. Taking my strides with confidence that if anything were to happen to me on this earth we call home, I would be reunited with My fallen Gods.
So I take every step, jump, thought, run with the boldness of one always being in the presence of Kings and Queens never forgotten but rather embraced through LIFE & LIVING
Notes (optional)
Sleepless nights
when I've
laid in
the thick darkness
listening to the
sirens scream
throughout
the city.

Drawn out sleepless
nights ,
nights that I spent
conjuring up
images of better
times.

Sleep deprived
lonely nights,
nights  I spent
counting
someone else's
legless sheep.

Nights I spent
wasting hours
by thinking of
nothing but
the past.
