Not everything needs a poem
Sometimes
it’s already

good enough.

When they ask me why I stayed so long
I explain that because of you
I never ran out of things to write about.

Looking back,
I wonder whether all along
I was looking for a lover
or a writing prompt.

Limitless.

This world
Is going
To One day-
Leave behind
Dust
Converged with
The universe.

Stars exploding,
Their flesh
imploding,
With ours.

We'll still be alive,
In another form of life.

Once dreamed
An island
Where
Aqua blue
Surrounded,
So quiet.

If you
Stepped
Far down
Into the sand,
You would discover
Stairs leading to
The Sea Floor-
Breathing in,
One last time.

Merely
Water,
Looking up,
You
Discover
That you
Are in control,
Not drowning...
No longer
Weighted,
Free
To swim up
To the
Line
Where
The air
fills your
Lungs once more.

Nothing
We fear
Will
Matter,
When
We
Become
Stardust.

Stardust covering all particles.
Stardust in the air.
Stardust everywhere.

I can’t quite put my finger on this—
The world continues to spin
On its axis, and thoughts dance
On imagination’s stage like toy soldiers,
Ballerinas, and stacked wooden dolls
Come to life in this far, far away vision.
Eyes open in a dream within a dream,
Where you think you have awoken,
But you are still deep in Dreamland.

Serendipity
You will never be able to buy satisfaction with words.

Serendipity
Yelling at the seed,
won't make it a flower.
Yelling at the stem,
won't make it grow faster.
Yelling at the thorns,
won't make it tower.

Therefore;

Praising the rose,
won't make it any prouder.

Serendipity
She felt like
summers memories
in
late
October.
